The river current dislodged a massive ice sheet forming along the river shore. While traveling downstream, the ice scraped against the shoreline until finally bumping into some rocks.

Some eagle calls I captured in wintertime. They were perched high above the river and were probably looking for fish in the river rapids.

Sounds of the Kettle River recorded on a beautiful sunny, warm afternoon. The ice on the river was melting and a big chunk of ice fell into the river.  Bird calls and chipmunks can also be heard throughout this track.
