This is a song that came to me quite in Full on the evening of Christmas Day 2024 which was also the First Nite of Hanukkah 2024 at just around 11pm, Just like Magic. 
~ I do believe my beautiful late Mom may have had something to do with it ~ I've never had a song write itself practically in entirety so easily ~ Hope It Brings Hope ~~ & Yes ~ Magic !

Sick of the sun (2025)

Well I’ve  gone for that Rock N Roll gravel voice on this tune. Thought I might experiment to give it that dirty gritty feel after all I was blindsided.
Wrote this back in 2021 as a sketch and now Magic Maestro Mr Mike Fox as evolved it into this cool indie rock track. 
He thinks it’s the best tune to date for This Sound Society, we have done so many and I’ve enjoyed every single one so I couldn’t really say myself. The one thing  I can say is that there are no preferences to a formatted style we cover what ever mood direction the music takes us. 
But I do know one thing I am super grateful for his hard-work in making these tunes happen.
And also thanks to Mikes lodgers Kim, Sandra & Arther for their amazing backing vocals . 
We have talked about making an album in the future which seems inevitable with all these great tunes piling up. 
I’m writing this after watching an intimate night with John Power taking us through the  journey of his musical career. Hard to believe he is in my local town hall tonight and then playing 6 nights at Wembley stadium in the summer supporting Oasis with his band. A long hard journey in the music industry and a million miles from us Soundcloud remote recording rock stars.
Went off there in a tangent and a bit random !

That Thing You Do

A non-singer songwriter! Writing a series of songs (Double Album) about western philosophy and philosophers while trying to keep them rockin'. These song explore western philosophy inspire by Nigel Warburton's Book "A Little History of Philosophy" and I started writing them to aid my poor muddle memory.

Picked up the Electric Guitar during lockdown after 20 years and haven't looked back - why did I put it away!

Looking at recruiting a proper singer and other band members to make live music once again.

Writing music and playing guitars (inc bass) keeping me sane in a mad world!

Main influence is 70s Rock, but into blues, soul, funk and jazz. I also play the spanish guitar classical guitar and dabble with the ukelele!
