Characteristics of the experiment

The left side of the headphones receives ONLY the sound of EW Pianos Platinum Steinway D (Pf1), the right side of the headphones receives ONLY the sound of EW Pianos Platinum Bechstein (Pf2), both inserted via the Vst3 Opus in Finale 27.

First Movement of the Sonata: The pianos are both tuned to 432 Hz (first part of the experiment)

Second Movement of the Sonata: Left Pf tuned to 435 Hz - Right Pf tuned to 429 Hz

Third Movement of the Sonata: Left Pf tuned to 434 Hz - Right Pf tuned to 430 Hz

In the second and third movements the average frequency  (f1+f2):2  it is always 432 Hz

EXPERIMENT on the effects of sounds on the human mind and body:
1)	Effects on physical health of music, with A tuned at 432 Hz (*)
2)	 Resonant sound effects perceived by the human brain that receives sounds WITHOUT the propagation of sound waves in the air (**)
3)	Are there any links with “binaural” music?  (I know very LITTLE about it)

(**) In the presentation image of the EXPERIMENT (page 282 of the text "FISICA GENERALE" by Prof. Sergio Rosati, Ambrosiana Publishing House) there is a graphic illustration of a well-known interference phenomenon, the BEATS, which are determined in the air when two sound sources, whose waves differ slightly in frequency, combine, producing beats. In this experiment the sound sources are introduced into the human ear via headphones the left ear perceives the first source exclusively, the right ear perceives the second source exclusively, without the intermediation of the air. The interference between the two is now a product of the human brain, without the intermediation of the air, the medium in which sound waves propagate. THIS IS THE INTERESTING SIDE OF THE QUESTION.
Since each brain perceives and processes sounds differently both from person to person and from age to age, a possible comparison could be interesting!

Song composed as a gift (Christmas and New Year's gift) to my wife Anna.
In this song I inserted and harmonized two unsurpassed Gregorian chants:
the first, “Puer Natus in Bethleem”, from the century XIV, is published on page. 449 of the “Piccolo Liber Cantus”;
the second, “O Quam Amabilis”, is published on page 309 of the same collection of Gregorian chants.

Dialogue between the Guardian Angel and the Soul

In this piece I managed to insert the articulations of "EW Symphonic Choirs Platinum" and those of "EW Hollywood Choirs Diamond" into Finale27 without the "Word Builder" plugin which cannot be managed with Finale27. For me it is a great achievement!

This composition, "Memoriae Gregorianae," features three "Kyrie Gregoriani" themes:
The first was sung (and notated by me) at the Mass for the enthronement of Pope Leo.
The second theme is the Kyrie theme from the Mass "Cum Jubilo" (IX. - In Festis B. Mariae Virgis).
The third theme is taken from the Mass "In Dominicis Adventus et Quadragesimae" (XVII).
The themes are prepared, introduced, and varied by me very freely.

Questa composizione, “Memoriae Gregorianae” presenta tre temi di “Kyrie Gregoriani”:
il 1° è stato cantato (e da me annotato) nella S. Messa di intronizzazione di papa Leone.
il 2° tema è il tema del Kyrie della Messa “CUM JUBILO” (IX. - In Festis B. Mariae Virgis).
il 3° tema è tratto dalla Messa “In Dominicis Adventus et Quadragesimae” (XVII).
I temi sono da me preparati, introdotti e variati molto liberamente.

     The photo of the piece illustrates a way to voice choirs by inserting the appropriate articulations directly into the score in Finale27 (or even Sibelius, I believe), avoiding the use of the recommended applications that are not compatible with these music composition software. The articulation indicated by $ allows you to insert silent consonants. The other articulations should be self-explanatory.

L’ultimo tema di “MISCELLANEA II” è una mia riscrittura della canzone “Musica Dolce” , una melodia di altissima ispirazione composta da Pasquale Ferrara, del Complesso “GEN SOLE” di Napoli.
Il Complesso GEN SOLE nella seconda metà del secolo scorso ha creato e presentato molti brani di contenuto artistico veramente notevole.

The final theme of "MISCELLANEA II" is my rewrite of the song "Musica Dolce," a highly inspired melody composed by Pasquale Ferrara of the "GEN SOLE" Ensemble of Naples.
In the second half of the last century, the GEN SOLE Ensemble created and performed many pieces of truly remarkable artistic content.

I'm Antonio Porrino (Tonino).
Graduated in Physics in March 1979, I was Researcher in Theoretical Nuclear Physics at the "Federico II" University of Naples until November 2019.
I studied music, initially at the Conservatory of San Pietro a Maiella in Naples and then self-taught piano, organ and composition.
I have been married to Anna since July 1982 and we have 5 children, Fabio, Luca, Francesca, Cecilia, Vincenzo and 3 grandchildren, Antonio, Sofia and Vincenzo, Fabio's children, married to Sara.
I founded the polyphonic choir "Vicus Novanensis" in 1992 and in 2019 "I Cantori di Maria", which have collected the legacy of the numerous "long distance adoptions" of the previous choir.
The musical activity takes place mainly at the "Pontifical Minor Basilica of Maria Santissima Assunta" in Santa Maria a Vico (Italy).
I have composed music of various genres.
My music would like to express and transmit feelings of peace, serenity and joy, contrasting those of war, hatred and oppression that seem to prevail on planet Earth, causing the degradation of the natural environment that guards us.

Laureato in Fisica nel marzo 1979, sono stato Ricercatore di Fisica Nucleare Teorica presso l'Università "Federico II" di Napoli fino a novembre 2019. 
Ho studiato Musica, inizialmente presso il Conservatorio di San Pietro a Maiella di Napoli e poi pianoforte, organo e composizione da autodidatta.
Sono sposato con Anna dal luglio 1982 e abbiamo 5 figli, Fabio, Luca, Francesca, Cecilia, Vincenzo e 3 nipoti, Antonio, Sofia e Vincenzo, figli di Fabio, sposato con Sara. 
Ho fondato nel 1992 il Coro polifonico "Vicus Novanensis" e nell'anno 2019 "I Cantori di Maria", che hanno raccolto l'eredità delle numerose "adozioni a distanza" del precedente coro. 
L'attività musicale si svolge prevalentemente presso la "Basilica Pontificia Minore di Maria Santissima Assunta" di Santa Maria a Vico (Italy). 
Ho composto brani musicali di vario genere. 
La mia musica vorrebbe esprimere e trasmettere sentimenti di pace, di serenità e di gioia, contrastando quelli di guerra, odio e sopraffazione che sembrano prevalere sul pianeta Terra, provocando la degradazione dell'ambiente naturale che ci custodisce.
