A little late for Women's Day, but hey, better now than never. 

Been SUPER BUSY with personal stuff, so sorry for not posting like usual! Now that I'm in my senior year of college, I'm more focused on school. I had a break, so I came back to this classic that I started working on during New Years!
In case you didn't know; the first Castlevania OST was composed by a woman! She went under the Pseudonym of James Banana during production.

I've been working on a small side-project of late, and got inspired to make my first original work on Famitracker. I'm experimenting on how to create scary ambience on famitracker while not relying on (many) expansion chips.

Hey! 
It's been a minute. I've been super busy with school, so I'm not dead, I promise. I'm getting close to graduating, so I'll have some extra time on my hands soon. 

Since I missed Halloween, I decided to finish this project I put on the side. Took me a few hours to do, since I had this halfway completed. I then realized that I didn't like how it sounded. So I redid it in the VRC7 chip instead of the n163 chip. Sounds much better, and closer to the original.

I didn't realize that Chrono Trigger had so much great music on the SNES. Getting music to sound this great on the SNES was an achievement for sure.

A remix of the rather...minimalistic theme of W.D. Gaster, turned into a hypothetical battle theme for the guy.  Had lots of fun with this one, and hopefully I managed to capture this guy's spooky, freaky essence with the theme.

Rockman Stage 1

I started this tune on December 1st 2015 and I worked on it until january 13th, when I got stuck!
I wrote the beginning of what should have been the 2nd part, but I couldn't go on... When Antonio decided to publish a preview of the game (Semptember 2016) I decided to use a short version of the tune containing just the first part. I just had to make some little changes to make the lead instrument audible for the 6581 SID models, but wait: the version you're listening to now (the same that is on the CD) is the original one, with the filters working correctly!

Towards the end of the production of the game we needed another tune. Since there wasn't much time, we decided to keep this tune as it was on the preview.
When I listen to this tune it seems too short and incomplete... If I had more time (and maybe more ideas) I would try harder to develop the second part and maybe add a third one, as I had initially planned to do...

P.S.: As for the other Planet Golf tunes, the title was decided by Antonio, whom I thank!

Well, it's still snowing in Minnesota- so much, in fact, that we had school off today! In light of this unexpected break, I started working on a Famitracker cover of this excellent 90s bop that I've been listening to a lot lately for some reason. So far I've only fully worked out the chorus, but I'm in the process of making the verse, so expect a complete version to come along sometime soon.

I am a huge Castlevania fan... of the music that is. Since I've never owned a game from the franchise, I can and have played the music. When I stumbled on this beauty, I had had HAD to recreate it.
