ارتبطت “نسمة” بالفن والموسيقى منذ طفولتها حيث بدأت بالغناء وهي في العاشرة من عمرها، ثم التحقت للتدريب بدار الأوبرا لمدّة 7 سنوات، بينما جاءت انطلاقتها الحقيقة على الساحة الفنية من خلال الاشتراك في البرنامج الغنائي لاكتشاف المواهب "ستار أكاديمي 8" حيث تمكنت من الحصول على المركز الأول.

في عام 2012  أصدرت أول ألبوماتها الغنائية بعنوان "هتقولي أيه؟" 


Nesma started singing at the age of 10. She joined the Children's choir at the Cairo Opera House for 6 years with the conductor Selim Sahab.
Since 2007 Nesma is a star pupil of Dr. Neveen Allouba,the famous Egyptian Soprano and voice teacher. 
In 2011, Nesma Mahgoub won the famous Reality Show "Star Academy" in its 8th season.
