The Red Wire channels the heavy electrical load as any powerful superconductor from any power source; hot or cool as needed. A trio, hailing from the greater Boston area, these musical counterparts, pulled together plenty of rock experience to formulate a unit that delivers fiery rock tunes forged from the furnace of bands like The Who and The Kinks, but can still turn down the heat and draw on the soulful sense of The English Beat, to keep a crowd rising and falling with anticipation of what's next. Ian Davis on guitar / lead vocals, provides the burst that is fueled by Steve Genovese on bass / backing vocals alongside Deryck Morales on drums. This voracious mix seats the listener in a finely tuned vehicle crossing a wide musical landscape with an unforgettable ride that keeps you wanting the ride to last. 

With roots in both Ft. Collins and Denver, Colorado’s Wire Faces has a sound that can only be described as bigger than the sum of its parts. Their music seethes with primal energy, chaos and melodic finesse. Front man and drummer Shane Zweygardt, guitarist Ian Haygood, and bassist Menyus Borocz stylistically blend elements of post-punk into their groove-focused, experimental rock n’ roll. This concoction is the result of the band’s somewhat autonomous style of writing. Their affinity to not subscribe to a particular genre has allowed Wire Faces to stand apart from their peers, while strengthening the foundation of their creative center, improvisation.

Since 2011, the trio has had the opportunity, to play the SXSW festival, twice, in front of a mass of un-expecting festivalgoers. They were named “Best Rock Band” three years in a row, by the FoCOMA Peer Awards, and were nominated for “Best Post Punk Band” by Westword four years running. Wire Faces released a 6-song E.P., Diamonds & Gold, which gained wide regional acclaim and charted on the CMJ’s Top 200. In February of 2013, the band released a full-length album entitled King Cataract. The album was written, recorded, and produced entirely by Wire Faces, and finds the band examining a more mature and colorful spectrum of sound. 

The trio is currently in the studio again, feverishly writing and recording a series of singles and music videos set to release throughout 2014.

Born on November 2005, we're a diy-band playing something like hardcore/post hardcore (with wide influences like Converge, Envy, Neurosis or Curl up and die .. if we have to give names ..). Angry and melodic music, sometimes heavy, sometimes fast, with 3 screaming vocals (you'll have a better idea by listening to our stuff, which may be much more useful than reading this bio). After a free demo and about 60 gigs across France and Europe, we've released our first cd (a split with friends from After taste) in September 2008. We don't belong to any "scene", we just believe in friends. We support alternative subcultures, squats, tolerance and eurodance after-parties.

Rhythm Wire was a hard rock band based in the Los Angeles California area in the late 80's early 90's. This is their set at the Mount Baldy Lodge in 1990.

Is a series of interviews with American Combat Veterans about their experiences during and after Combat.  The tradition of the "war story" is a long military tradition, experienced warriors sharing their combat experiences with new service members.   As a Veteran I'm trying to capture some of these stories for other Veterans and for civilians who may not have ever heard a war story.  

But be warned, these war stories are from a single person's perspective, as some of us know time, emotion and the intensity of an experience can cloud memory, so we're not searching for the perfect truth of an experience, only one person's perspective.
