This song actually has two meanings to me.

1) this is a song about a relationship going round in circles, when you argue and they leave just to come back, but when you come back together, you never resolve the problem or even talk it out, so you come to a realisation and decide you’re going to stop the loop and try something new.

2) It’s a song to tell someone, I know what you’re going through, I am here whenever you need me, you’re not alone and keep going.

This song is about falling in love, and knowing this person is the one. The song is just expressing that.
