DJ Groovy Q started his “attack on the dance floor” in late 1997 armed with a two-year work visa for the UK. Initially his interest was in creating music, but after experiencing the various vibes that clubbing in London, Leeds, Ibiza and North Carolina (USA) had to offer, he tried his hand at mixing. Groovy Q was soon cutting his teeth on the wheels of steel at private parties in and around London.

On his return home in 2000, he scored South African residencies at AKWA and Purple Fly, where he ventured into the commercial genre, but soon returned to his true sound - a melting pot of Funky, Vocal, French and Disco house when joining the resident DJ line-up at Therapy/GASS.

He has also played at the YSL Villa parties, the Gaulious Parties - Paris with Love, the AFDA Festival, Red Hill Rock Fest, and at one point he was mixing under the Red Bull Home Groove banner. Groovy Q has played at many venues around the country including Mojo, Foo Moon Fusion, Bitch, Truth, Oh! Bar, The Roxy, Mynt, Legends, Carfax, Lemon 8, The Pyramid, Vacca Matta, Mo’s, CCHQ, Statement, Aqua Lounge, 115, Sliver (CT), Baseline (CT) and Tiffendel (Muluti Mountain Ski Lodge) to name a few 

Groovy Q is presently resident for the recently re-launched Therapy nighclub, he is also resident and promoter behind the underground party troupe Clique, and was part of the team that put together the Swanky parties. He has also held a residency and was the co-Promoter for the Citrus Lounge Parties. Past residencies have included Cherry Thursday (Therapy / G.A.S.S.) and alternate Saturday residency at Therapy and the Sunday club Remedy (115/Oh). 

His style of music is laid back, jazzy and always fresh - mixing French House, New York styled Vocal Garage, and a little UK Two Step. He also includes some of his own tracks in his sets, and his trademark signature is house remixes of Sade. He is currently one of the Top 60 South African DJ's as voted by clubbersguide.co.za.

Groovy Q has played alongside local DJ’s including Stuart Hillary, Coco Loco, Mark Stent, Sista C, Thelma Klensch, Tasha Baxter, M’buso, Brian Banshee, Lady Lea, DJFKA, Doctor Stone, Lalicia, Trevthedev, Prince Vince, Delon Palm, Fluid, Warren Louder, Groove Element, Angelo, MissRed, Maximillian, Alan Inferno, Amanda, Blue Nova, Brett Jackson, Bren, C4, Dr Stone, Bart Marley and Flash Republic, plus Roger Goode, Erica Elle, Kevin Grenfell and Katherine all of 5FM. He has also mixed alongside international DJ’s, recently opening for Stephan Pompegnaque (Hotel Costes), Jose Padilla (Café Del Mar) and Ravin (Buddah Bar) plus Alan X (X-Trax), Mark Bambach & Luigi Rosso (Coco Latte), Femi B, Tony Finger, D’syfa (Bukola) and Beat Boy Pete. He has also worked with Tasha Baxter, Jennifer Jones, Vernon Joel, Black Rabbit, Pam Andrews and Bukola (UK) having them perform and sing live over his DJ sets on various occasions.

Groovy Q has also enjoyed radio airplay, recently his two step styled remix of a Sade track was picked up and played out during Roger Goode’s dance show on 5FM. He was also showcased on Mark Gilman’s Vinyl Frontier (5FM) with a 20 minute mix of all his remixes and productions. He has also enjoyed airplay internationally on BBC Radio as a SA music representative.

Besides mixing and putting parties together, Groovy Q continues to pursue music production, and recently completed a set of concept reworks for Noa Tylo, Lady Lea and Battery 9. Groovy Q was selected as one of the top 14 in the Transmix contest with a honourable mention. His music is available for download on the Internet and has been awarded a top ten download for three months running on mPulse. 

Presently Groovy Q is in the studio working with prose vocalist Cleo and ColorBlack, and he is soon to start recording the debut album for his live house group Soulversatile. Plus putting the finishing touches to remixes for Vocalist and Performer Vernon Joel, under the moniker of VJDJ. They have recently launched some of the new house tracks live to an unsuspecting club crowd who lapped it up and chanted for more! He was also commissioned by Ghetto Ruff Records to remix and produce tracks for SA soul sensation R.J.Benjamin, and interest in his work has been shown from a French record label at Midem 2006.There’s no doubt that the future is bright for DJ Groovy Q. She's always looking for authentic, deep ways to find & create new sounds & history music pearls to keep up Techno & Ambient Music in her own Tracks, Coproductions & Mixes.
Her passion for music started at an early age. As a child, she used to learn music from musical games and her love for the sounds in general began with the xylophone and this little toy train that eats discs.

She started playing the guitar at 9 and the piano at 11. During her teens, she also learnt the battery and the violin.
She made her first steps into the world of music (Rock, Punk and Gothic) through her involvements in different music bands during her adolescence. Then, in 1996, she launched herself onto the live performance scene with utilization of machines across the decks and her inseparable MikroKorg.

In 1998, still being an eclectic artist, she decided to focus on electronic music and she began her career as a DJ. During this era of raves and free parties, She did many opening acts (Borealis Festival, Dragon ball parties, technivals, etc).
She went on increasing her participation to music festivals like Scopitone Festival in Nantes, Nuits Sonores of Lyon, Rocktambule in Grenoble .

She also started getting involved in bigger events: Berlin's Love Parade (1998), Geneva's Lake parade (2006), Technoparade Paris (2007 / 2010 ), Gay Pride Paris (2007/2008), Sonar's infamous boat parties ( 2009 ), Nature One Festival ( 2010/2011), Sziget (2010/2011 / 2012), Les Inrockuptibles Party ( 2012 ) , Rock en Seine (  2009 / 2010 / 2012 ) Be street Festival ( 2012 / 2013  ) .
And also aftershows, art events, fashion shows, she plays in a lot of French and international clubs .

At age 18 he started out in nightclubs in Neuchatel, loving being a night owl, he was then hired as a bartender in a nightclub.

Atonic started as expression of ultimate production freedom with no borders during music creation process. No matter is it house or techno, Atonic means immediate inspiration driven through acid sounds, sometimes peculiar and sometimes very visible.
For Atonic inspiration comes from nature, or his turbulent childhood, or everyday life. The best way to explain very distinctive way of his music creation process is to taste 9V battery on your tongue, you will feel bitter & strange acid taste, but you wanna taste it again, definitely. Atonic is like a child who discover the world everyday, step by step. 23 YEARS IN FEW WORDS :

1994 - 1996 : His early steps in djing found Kostas performing  as a resident dj in his party projects ALPHA FREQUENCY,  ETERNITY and ALIENS and as a guest in small parties all around Athens,GR.

1996 - 2000 : Kostas is becoming resident dj of SUNRISE ZONE,Athens most upfront underground party organisation and finds himself playing in front of many hundreds, sometimes many thousands of people nearly every week,as well as in parties all around Greece, making his name synonymous to the Athenian underground.

2000-2007 : He is creating and managing LOOPSNOO records.His company included an independed music Label with more than 70 compositions released, a vinylstore and a vinyl distribution in Athens with many thousands of vinyls sold, a dj Agency handling really busy rosters and a Label Party project with more than two hundred events. At the same time Kostas is keep on djing in Greece regularly and sometimes in abroad too. From 2000 till 2002 he was the resident dj of Cyberfunk events hosted in the legendary +SODA CLub..

2007 - 2017 : Kostas decides that Loopsnoo Company demanded pretty much of his time the last seven years and that it was a time for a good break. In order to concetrate morely and mostly to his art, he closes down the firm and the last decade he lives between Athens,London and Mykonos doing only what he likes most, djing and producing tracks!

Michael Wiesenfarth aka The Freek Macheen was born in 1975 in Mutlangen Germany.In the age of 14 he started to make Mixtapes with Miami Bass Records.He also had a lot of experience with rapping , breakdancing and scratching through the following years.In 2001 he was for a short time well known for his scratching and mixing skills as a DJ in a small Club in Germany. He started producing music in 2005.  Michael’s debut album “Frozen Blood” was released in September 2009 with his most known Track Bladerunner, on the Canadian Label Intelligenix.He also had a few Releases on the German Label Battery Park Studio. On this Label he Released his well known Track Return of The Funk.This Track reached #1 in the Street Sound Electro Charts. In November 2010 he started his own Label Eisblock Records.To this day he released more than 20 Albums,Singles,EPs on Eisblock Records.In 2015 he did a Remix for EFK Force - "This Bass is Bionic" ,which was released as a 4 Track Vinyl. His musical influences are Dynamix II, Egyptian Lover, Afrika Bambaataa, 2 Live Crew and Maggotron as well as many more electro artists.  His unique style includes robotic voices and 808 kick drums.
