Sulla Queen Stefanie il Rum scorreva nelle gole arse come

un fiume nel greto dopo un secolo di secca.

Il tesoro era abbondante e il vento soffiava dal cielo

come se gli angeli stessero sbattendo le loro ali per

farli approdare al porto .

 

Berrò fino alla tomba perché quanto è vero che l'oceano

è salato il vino non é la risposta ma fa dimenticare le domande..

 

Io comprerò una casa per me e la mia bella,

e faremo l'amore ogni notte, perché come diceva quel bastardo

di mio padre il matrimonio è come uno spiedino,

lei ci mette la carne, tu lo stecchino.

 

Il capitano nel silenzio della sua stanza intagliava il legno,

avrebbe finito di lì a poco il mezzo busto di Emily la puttana..

una volta arrivato glielo avrebbe regalato, non si era mai inginocchiato

neppure per pregare ma questa volta lo avrebbe fatto per

chiederla in sposa.

 

Il mare era calmo e materno le vele sventolavano bianche

come le lenzuola di una vergine stese ad asciugare.

 

Grandi sogni di rivalsa riempivano gli occhi arrossati di quei pirati,

certo qualcuno di occhio ne aveva uno solo.

qualcuno ci aveva rimesso una gamba o qualche dito, o un braccio,

ma il capitano li aveva convinti, Nettuno

aveva in fine deciso di barattare il sangue immolato

riversando su quelle mani bruciate dal lavorio

e dalla battaglie il tesoro più prezioso dei mari,

mai un tesoro più cospicuo aveva impreziosito le sue acque.

 

Tutto taceva, ubriachi i pirati dormivano, io ero di vedetta.

 

La luna sembrava ad un palmo e rifletteva sulle piccole onde

riflessi argentei che delineavano una corsia sicura per il ritorno.

La queen Stefanie era la nostra culla

così caddi tra le braccia di Morfeo.

 

Fu un tuono a svegliarmi, poi improvviso il vento soffiò

arrivandomi alle spalle come un colpo di spada codardo.

Le vele si gonfiarono e sembrò l'urlo di una partoriente

il suono che emisero quando si squarciarono nel mezzo.

Completamente divelte si aprirono come un sipario

sulla scenografia mesta di un cielo pronto a precipitare.

 

Da lì non ricordo altro che urla e pioggia tagliente come vetro,

passi disordinati e bestemmie, lo scricchiolare del legno

e il sopra che diventava sotto.

 

Eravamo un punto dimenticato nel nero infinito che era

il mare, poi fummo circondati

da un girotondo di luci fluorescenti e in quel caotico

girone infernali come un requiem il canto delle sirene

musicava la nostra Odissea.

 

La queen Stefanie si spezzò come fosse fatta di pane azimo

scivolammo senza speranze fra le onde gigantesche

prima con l'anima e poi con il corpo affondammo

in quelle acque gelide e senza speranze.

 

Ormai battuto mi lasciai risucchiare verso il fondo,

a pochi metri da me nella luce di un fulmine  vidi il capitano,

stingeva la sua scultura al petto.

 

Il tesoro per il quale avevamo sfidato ogni sorte

ora scendeva algido nelle acque, lentamente come neve

e come fiocchi di neve dissolvevano le nostre inutili illusioni .

 

Ricordo di un silenzio di cui non avevo memoria,

la morte era prossima quando le labbra della sirena

mi baciarono riempiendo i miei polmoni..

sentivo i suoi seni addosso, caldi e pieni di vita..

 

Una scossa mi traversò, la sua bellezza aveva qualcosa di divino,

guardandoci salimmo a pelo d'acqua,

la tempesta era passata, sembrava il primo giorno del creato

 

Dopo aver ritrovato il respiro passai una mano sugli occhi

per togliere la salsedine e mettere a fuoco,

guardai la sirena.. fissare i suoi occhi era come

fissare il sole di mezzogiorno, mi mostrò la sua lingua,

su di questa era posato un rubino rosso..

mi baciò di nuovo e stremato le svenni tra le braccia..

 

Mi risvegliai a riva e tossendo sputai quel rubino,

ero il solo sopravvissuto.

"It's a bit as if I was ashamed to introduce this album,
whereas I started this project almost two years ago taking fun in it.
If Im ashamed it's because it reminds me a period of my life that is both difficult,
and somewhere that I always try to get closer, the addictions of all kinds, this absence of borders, and the fact of sometimes wallow in the dark.

The sample of the movie "Requiem for a Dream" in track n°2 is not randomly chosen, in this album it is subject without complexes of my addictive behavior, not only to drugs or excess but for me always pushing the boundaries further, to test them, to the point of finding myself near to death several times. This absence of a living environment, this need to push everything further. It's creepy yes, this album is dark and creepy. But it feels good to me not to hide from it.
This quest for the ideal in destruction I found that the album title "Panacea" illustrated it well. And the sample used in track n°6 comes from the end of this period, a long psychiatric hospitalisation.

But it was also a tribute to the free parties that I spend some weekends during the free techno movement in France in the early 2000s.
I would have spent unforgettable moments, this album could still be simply nostalgia.
Moreover track n°3 includes a sample from the anime soundtrack "Ghost In The Shell", which has alone represents this period of my life.

"Panacea" comes from a track of the same title name, on the psychedelic trance "Pondou Fever" Peyote Records compilation, discovered in the same period and on which my first attack of hallucinatory paranoia were triggered.
From that precise moment, in summer 2002 to be exact, a door opened and never closed, music took up all the space in my brain, its language reached me, and its power has provided and still provides me with hard sensations never felt anywhere else."
