"Tommy Gunn" was born November 17th, 1981 in Grady Memorial hospital in Atlanta and ever since then he was born with a purpose to overcome all obstacles and share his talent with the world.

"Tommy Gunn" fell in love with music around the young age of 7 or 8. Most would think a kid would want to watch cartoons or play outside but "Tommy Gunn" never wanted to watch TV. Instead he always wanted to listen to the radio because that's what interested him and so the dream started to take form of pursuing a rap career.

Looking up to rappers such as: Bone from Bone Thug and Harmony, Gangsta Pat, Top Authority, Ghetto Mafia, Playa Fly and developed his own unique flow and so it began with the start of "Tommy Gunn".

"Tommy Gunn" has been rapping since the age of 12. From the time he could remember he would make his own cassette mixtapes. "Tommy Gunn" started coming out in the year 2000 but dropped his first recorded song with Mr. Big Time AKA Columbia BT in 1997 titled "We Some Playaz".

He is both an East Point and College Park Georgia representative, but even though the streets raised him they weren't always kind.

When "Tommy Gunn" was only 17 his brother was shot and killed with a 12 gauge at his birthday party in 1998. 14 years later, "Tommy Gunn" was faced with looking death in the eyes as he was shot with the same gun in 2012. Ironically, the same hospital he was given life at he was reborn again at as God said it wasn't his time yet. So, he turned to his love of music to pull him out the storm.

"Tommy Gunn" knew there had to be a better pathway and life ahead of him. Not only for him but for his inspirations. His kids and family are his inspirations and all he ever wanted for them is the best and not to be in the same unfortunate events he's had to overcome. Real life situations and family motivated him to stay focus and have no choice but to make his dreams happen and fulfill his destiny.

"Raheim the Dream" whose label name was "Tight for Life" signed a young rap group named "Tight for Life Training Camp" in the year 2000. Which consisted of rappers: Tommy Gunn, Dro, Fabo and Drama.

Tommy Gunn has been in the rap game for 17 years. Dropping hits like: "Blood on the Money", "Thumb through it" and "Ana". When it comes to the music business here's a few words of advice from "Tommy Gunn":

"Remember to have a good manager that can book you consistent shows, put in the hard work and talent and never stop grinding. You never know how close you are to making your dreams reality. Life is full of unexpected twists and turns but never give up on your passion because you may get knocked down a few times but you'll get back up undefeated".
