Every city and town has wealthy people nearby if not within it. If all wealthy people took great pride in giving up short term gains for long term community sustainability, every city and town could do very well in general. There is a lot of wealth not being used, and a lot being wasted.

There are enough of the necessary resources for the world to live very well as a whole, but we have to take real democratic control of things in order to see any benefits from that, or small groups will dominate in a destructive way.
