Jordi Olan, better known as Jay215, is a Puerto Rican rapper born and raised in North Philadelphia. During high school, he began his music career and was inspired by creative writings, novels, and listening to his favorite artists such as J.Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Joyner Lucas, Logic, and Philly native Meek Mill. Jay found rap as his therapy away from the real world and placed himself into a world where he felt in control. One of his objectives in hip-hop is to be recognized as a versatile rapper who loves to have fun, tell a story, and inspire others. The artistic ability Jay posses has no limits as this young Philly artist can go from a confidant in your face MC, switching to a lyrical prodigy, then switching to a calm story-teller.
