ADF  is a singer-songwriter based in the northwest of Ireland blending varying hues of folk and country and presented in a melodic and folk style. Something old, something new.

The songs on the first release from ADF 'Reaching From The Dark' are representative of a journey that has been the goal of a lifetime, to release a group of songs from the heart. 

Following on from the release of 'Reaching From The Dark' in November 2018, the single 'The Rock' was released in may 2019. Backed with a cover of the Tom Petty and Jeff Lynne penned classic 'Learning To Fly' this marked the first time for an ADF styled cover. I hope in some way I did the song justice and it's my tribute to Tom, one of the master writers of our time. Equally 'The Rock' whilst not a tribute in full is a half tribute to Rory Gallagher and also to the festival in Ballyshannon held each at the beginning June. It's my tribute to the people that come here year after year from all over the world to celebrate music.

Looking towards the future an album is in the works with a tentative release date of 2020. Preceding this will be a track from the album 'Don't Give Up' which will release as a single this coming November. If all plans fall into place, which let's face it they most likely won't, two more singles will lead up to the release of the album.
