the beat is great, reminds me of old 80s tracks from OFF awesome

it got some great ideas and sounds, a bit more beatplay etc this would be fantastic!

this is maybe the best track of the contest. i don't like the bass panned left, and it's a bit monotonous drum pattern-wise, but it's got vibe for days.

Good job: very nice play with the portamento lead. I think the repetitive bass / drum work is good, not disruptive, but perfectly suited to the piece. And the sounds you made: it fits. I would have liked a bit of variety, i.e. FX sounds. Good luck in the challnge:)

the kick is too up front and pumpy for me. It breaks up the other parts too much, as it's kind of a chill downtempo thing otherwise. I'd have definitely dispensed with the ducking that's clearly going on. Otherwise I really enjoy the concept, I'd just bring that kick way back so it's supporting instead of dominating...

I really like the kick and snare sounds you got.

There's a sense of thoughtfulness in terms of the sound design. I'm into it.

I used some factory presets, a couple of TSOM presets (1 Pad) and DR (1 Kick), and modified many presets, especially to create a drum kit. This was a really tough challenge because I still have a lot to learn about synths in general, and this synth, despite being truly beautiful, is very complicated for me.
I have to thank The Sound of Merlin, CrazyIvan, NeverBeeenInARiot, and Taron (also for the tutorials, thanks to which I somehow managed to create some presets) for their patience, moral and technical support. I received really great advice 😊

I created this song in the last few days, it was a busy month. The synth itself is a decent one, could be someone's first synth as it's designed to learn. The controls are pretty basic and the FX section lacks some crucial parameters (like low/high filtering for reverb/delay). The synth has its own character though. It's reminiscent of 90's virtual analog synths with that characterful phase restart effect when unison mode is turned on. I could even make some cool rave sounds with it.
