Together, they will explore vital topics in sports, including preparedness, resilience, and the barriers athletes face, as well as the crucial role communities play in fostering these attributes.  As well as delve into disaster recovery and the significant impact of sports in emergency situations.  There will also be a meet and greet with the panelists.

Beyond the game is on 11am - 2pm, Sunday the 15th of December, 2024 at the Main Pavilion Function Room, Sports Precinct, Cnr of Numurkah Rd & Brauman St, Shepparton.

Red Flag Community Emergency Scenario and Local Exercise is an exercise/program designed to help the community, local emergency service responders become leaders – so they can innovate and understand the risks, so they can come together to help each other and share their knowledge and learn what they need to know and do as a community.

The interactive exercise follows a community strengths-based approach designed to reduce the reliance on individuals, single groups, agencies, and government by drawing upon current and potential local people and resources. All the skills which may be required if the community becomes isolated, cut-off from systems and services and/or overwhelmed are already in your community.
