Alexiandro has become a permanent recurring part of the Wout ecosystem. So it is with deepest pleasure that we enjoy his new musical offspring: the "Lost City" EP.
The main track rummages through your feelings with its soft to oppressive passages. Alexiandro plays with modulated synthspads and skillfully opens and closes the theme melodies. You can literally feel how the artist puts us under his spell.
For a structured remix of "Lost City" we have get Pisetzky on board. He disassembled the track into its individual parts and gives it more straightforwardness.
The EP also features "Explore", which is in no way inferior to the other tracks. We were especially convinced by these clear electronic drums and the steady build-up of this composition.

Belgian electronic pioneer, Pole Folder needs little introduction. A former protégée of the UK legend and Bedrock boss, John Digweed, Pole Folder broke onto the scene in 2001 and has since evolved into a multi-instrumentalist and live performer showcasing an exciting and unique brand of melodic house and techno. Signed to Global Underground, Renaissance and the aforementioned bedrock, Pole Folder exudes a timeless class in everything he makes.

Munich-based Aethon is the Deep-House/Ethereal-Techno alias of DJ/Producer and Modular Synth enthusiast Christian Schnall. Socialised and influenced by the alternative music of the ‘90s, he combines the melancholic teen spirit with the electronic sound of today.

The single features the vocals from highly sought-after vocalist Jinadu. With collaborations to date with Black Coffee, Hot Since 82, Eli Brown, Jamie Jones ad Dixon. He is also known as one half of The Beauty Room, a luscious, 70’s Americana inspired project that employed the skills of Grammy award winning engineer Peter Henderson (Supertramp) and string arranger Paul Buckmaster (David Bowie, Elton John) to great effect.

In original form, deep kicks and a rubbery low end form the bedrock on which sparse percussion and bright and airy synths work their magic. Jinadu’s ethereal vocals add to the air of mysticism which becomes a maelstrom of melancholy energy. A real meeting of minds with far-reaching creative potential. On remix duties, Fur Coat goes deep and musical creating a deeply hypnotic version, while Armonica slows the tempo and toughens the low-end grit with a haunting Reese bass. The release also features an ambient reimagination and shortened radio cut.'

Armonica's Cosmo remix is a dark and throbbing version that takes you from the beach-driven sunset mood of the original to the dark corners of a club. The latest release from Tash's Movement Recordings finds Lastraw and Nine Collins returning to the label for their debut EP. The former has enjoyed a near decade long career as a producer, showcasing his techno sounds via Exotic Refreshment, Rhythmetic Records and Us and Them Records. Meanwhile, Nine Collins has enjoyed similar success as a DJ, playing some of Greece's trendiest venues such as Tokyo City Bar, Club Division and The Real Rock n Rolla. With a contribution to the Movement Recordings 'Technical Progress' Vol. 11 collection and the Her Kind' EP for label affiliate Astral Records both landing earlier this year, Lastraw and Nine Collins now return to Movement with Wonder Mind', alongside a remix from Circle of Life.

PREMIERE: Franc Fala - Teenage Wasteland (Original Mix) [sequence]

'Adam's Bite head honcho Martinesque is back on his imprint this September with the 'Deep Valley' EP.

Following up on last year's 'Paradigm' EP, 'Profound' doubles down on Martinesque's psychedelic qualities. Geared towards the early hours, he's served up three cuts of intimate ritual music with a focus on low-slung grooves and stripped-back atmospheres.

'Profound' leads us down the rabbit hole of progressive house music. It's a modern take on the format, full of disorientating spatial modulation, brooding texture, and the emotional depth we've come to expect from the artist.

The B-side further illuminates this path. 'Watercourse' introduces a playful twitch to the palette, full of life-affirming echoes and melodies. Before rounding things off is the deepest track of the lot, 'Blackbird" features compelling call-and-response vocals, continuously intertwining with its gently tripping bassline.

A meticulously assembled package, this record sees Martinesque deliver his most playful outing yet.

Belgian synth obsessive Biesmans continues his fine form with a standout new single that gets remixed by Tjade and Zombies in Miami. As always, we will donate all proceeds to the Sinchi Foundation to support Indigenous peoples worldwide.

Biesmans first fell in love with the magic of synthesisers aged just eight. After soaking up the many great discos and after-hours clubs in his native Flanders region, he completed a degree in Electronic Music, moved to Berlin and became a sound technician at the Watergate club. He then debuted on their label with an impressive EP and followed it up with 2020's accomplished debut album ‘Trains, Planes & Automobiles.’ His fantastic 'Careless Nights' was crafted on a hardware-heavy studio setup and is a richly textured synth disco track. Corrugated basslines, slapping hits and shiny 80s arpeggios all make for a lively, upbeat groove. The drums pump away and take you ever higher on a wave of expressive melody.

Utrecht-based Tjade is best known for 'Koi Jaye', a rework of a 90’s Bollywood classic that got played by the likes of Hunee and Palms Trax at Dekmantel and DGTL Festival. He has gone on to work with
labels like Live at Robert Johnson and Mule Musiq where he fuses trance, electro and Italo. This remix is eight excellent minutes of colourful synth loops, slapping broken beats and rugged bass that makes for a physical groove.

Canibal & Jenouise's Zombies In Miami project brings together techno and rock into visceral club music. They have a thrilling live act and have long had high-profile support from the likes of Michael Mayer, and Roman Flugel. They flip the original into a hands-in-the-air Italo disco anthem run-through with sci-fi motifs and bright, futuristic chord sequences.
