As a backyard Berlin boy, SUBFARI’s musical journey started right when he popped into this world. He was wearing headphones before he could even walk. One of his biggest influences in music production was his father’s massive record collection. These sounds shaped his unique style and played a pivotal role in his understanding and feeling for music. His taste and approach across all music genres is what goes into his musical creations.

Always on the hunt for new music and diverse recording techniques, he blends old-school hip-hop influences, record sampling, synthesizer sounds, and any kind of harmonic vibes. His music is deeply felt, seamlessly merging the past with the present. It encompasses soulful undertones from jazz, blues, indie, rock and roll, as well as new wave, synth-pop, grooving tribe-based percussions, and a big love for rhythm. He has no airs and graces, and if you ask him for a quote, he would say: “My world is sound.”
