Bread was formed in 1969, when leading producer/arranger and session man David Gates produced Pleasure Faire, a band that included guitarist Robb Royer and songwriter James Griffin.

As Bread, the three combined to create a polished, melodic soft-rock style, which by their second album, On The Waters, unleashed the chart topping single “Make It With You.” Further albums yielded major hits in “Baby I’m A Want You” “Everything I Own,” and “Guitar Man,” by which time another noted session man, Larry Knechtel, had replaced Royer.

Bread’s smooth pop approach also earned them a stream of international hits and they toured successfully. Bread’s sound was not without an edge, but those immaculate pop hits overshadowed the group‘s compelling albums.

Bread was a highly significant group for Elektra as they eased the label’s transition into the 70’s by which time music was changing and Elektra, now part of the Warner Communications Group, reflected the more accessible, AM fueled direction.

This is the sound of music with real meaning, from a band growing in popularity against all the odds. A band defying expectations and rewriting the rule books on what can and can't be done in rock music. A band with such a natural sense of melody, balanced with seething power and lyrics that enlighten and inspire, a band of brothers and sisters, a band of unique origin. Anathema returned on May 31st with their new album, We're Here Because We're Here. Described as  ‘A flawless, life-affirming comeback and a gold-plated contender for album of the year’  and given a 9/10 review by Classic Rock, this is the first collection of new material from the band since the 2003 album, A Natural Disaster. Formed in Liverpool in 1990, the band’s sound and musical vision has continually evolved over the ensuing years while always remaining true to the band’s original goal of creating forward-thinking, meaningful, passionate, and honest music. With each release they moved beyond the boundaries of limited scenes and pigeon holes, creating a complex and emotive atmospheric sound. Anathema have been at the forefront of the UK rock/metal movement for many years. They began their journey as pioneers of melodic heavy music, influencing a myriad of bands to follow them, before outgrowing all genres and limitations as they fearlessly explored new territory and new ways to express feeling through sound.
The line-up is really a collective of two families who were quite simply born to do it. Anathema consists of brothers Vincent, Daniel and Jamie Cavanagh, alongside childhood friends John Douglas and his sister Lee, who is an incredible singer in her own right. The line-up is completed by Les Smith, who brings much in the way of production expertise to the band.
There is a deeper bond in the group that transcends usual band politics, ego, and self-interest. They have a shared vision: to make the most incredible music they possibly can, and it seems, despite the lavish praise heaped on the band for their past work, that they are now taking their work to a whole new level.

I was born (April. 10. 1994). Since he was a child he loved the music and never ceases to love and enjoy, I started playing the drums since the age of 8, step the time little by little i was integrating in rock bands. As any teenager I caught my attention to the electronic music. But what led me to make a lover of House music, was its infectious, completely melodic and dance rhythm. 
When I was about 15 years I remember very well to a department store and fund it sounded a musical theme with too much soul, a rhythm, the vocal was great. I thought as it is called that is very fine ... it is something that I can't describe it. Time passed, and while sailing i found a page called BOILER ROOM, i didn't know that it was so only download a podcast ... The Podcast or Dj-Set was Rick WILHITE ... When I heard this was what he had heard years ago ... But how are you called? It is called HOUSE. 
So that makes 6 months have passed with this project with the pseudonym of V-Pleasure and my goal will always mix and create the best environment together all with the same purpose dance.

Electrik -Pleasure is the all new weekly internet based radio hosed and mixed by Gaz Eaton.

I like to sing in my voice, not imitating other singers. Any similarity to other singers is purely co incidental. One of my fans described my voice as melodic, sensual and distinct and strong. I agree with that comment :)
All I hope to achieve is giving someone else the pleasure I had in singing the song, which is either recorded in my lounge room, or at a karaoke bar. The latter usually has outside sound interference that cannot be avoided. I try to put more feeling and meaning into the lyrics, and hope that it connects with you out there. I have never been in a studio recording, so what you hear is purely amateuer. A lot of fans mark they like a song, but a comment would also be appreciated.
