King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard have released a staggering amount of music over the last decade. Two of those releases, 2017's Flying Microtonal Banana and 2020's KG are both heavily influenced by Turkish Psych-Rock. Geoff Stanfield caught up with the band's main producer, writer, multi-instrumentalist and singer Stu Mackenzie to chat about this direction and take a deeper look at some of their favorite tracks on the most recent of the two albums, KG. This right here is one of my favorite hip hop songs of all times. I love the theme and the amazing performance of every artist involved in the project. I needed to do a remix. I came up with something very different from what I'm used to while still keeping some of my favorite ingredients.

It all starts very peacefully, fragile, and then it turns into a heavy deep and intense shake-your-head response. This is how I feel about it. Hope it brings out the best in you.
