Joshua is a uniquely talented and emerging young singer, songwriter, musician, and producer from Leeds, England, currently living in Southern California.

He is a distinctive solo artist whose early song production falls generally into the Pop category with clear influences from Soul, R&B, Jazz, Blues, and a range of related sub-genres.  This reflects his expansive interest in and exposure to a variety of musical styles and genres.

Josh has an engaging and deeply personal vocal and lyrical style that his listeners can easily relate to, and he complements this with a natural ear for music.  He plays the piano, guitar, and drums as part of his ensemble of musical talent.  He combines these elements into a signature songwriting and music producing style.  On a personal level, he’s a passionate and deep-feeling person in touch with the world around him and this comes through in his varied song styles and the relatable nature of his music.

As a solo artist, Josh might initially bring to mind artists like Justin Bieber, The Weeknd, Shawn Mendes, Charlie Puth, and Harry Styles.  However, Josh has a unique and engaging style that is all his own and it is easily distinguishable from these elite artists.

Josh showed an aptitude for music at an early age, starting with an eerie ability to play the drums competently as a young child.  As he got older, his innate ability began to express itself in a variety of interesting ways.  For example, he had a curious way of connecting with the underlying harmonies and instrumentals in a song, rather than the lead vocals and melody.  As he matured, his instrumental ability expanded to the piano and guitar.

Josh released his first song Doubts on all streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music, in September 2021, and his second song, Sweetness, was released on December 10th, 2021.  He has a handful of singles soon to follow in 2022, including songs provocatively titled Urge, Poetic, Twisted, Plots & Twists, and Lullaby.  These songs complement Doubts nicely with a mix of moods, rhythms, life issues, and musical styles.
