The biblical creation story describes God creating the universe and Earth in six days, resting on the seventh. On Day 1, God created light and darkness. Day 2 involved creating the sky to separate waters. Day 3 brought forth land and plants. On Day 4, God made the sun, moon, and stars. Day 5 saw the creation of fish and birds. On Day 6, God made land animals and humans, Adam and Eve, in His image. God blessed them and declared His entire creation good before resting on the seventh day.
