- Make a song in response to the weekly assigned poem (a new poem is published every Wednesday)
- When choosing a title for your piece also include the assignment number, for example “Title of your track (naviarhaiku110)”
To submit your track:
- If you’re a Soundcloud user, upload it on Soundcloud and send me the URL via private message, or tag me in the track.
- If you upload your music on Youtube, Bandcamp or anywhere else, upload your submission and then send me the link by email at marco@naviarrecords.com or contact me on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram

haiku #433: if a touch / could heal / spring rain

This recording follows the inspiration of the Disquiet Junto Project 0537 (see below): How could a apologetic car horn sound like ?
The track presents a quiet side street, its atmosphere augmented by different musical elements. Some cars apologize for driving by and disrupting the calm by sounding their apologetic melody, and in the end this horn melody leads a life of its own.

Healing Touch (naviarhaiku433)

This track is intended as meditation music in a stressful situation: it allows the listener to connect with the music in their agitated state and then let it lead them into a state of relaxation as the composition slows down step by step, leaving the stressful elements aside.
The track starts in the chaos of city traffic and transforms into an underwater world intended to provide calm.

This composition was inspired by the Disquiet Junto Project 0538, which proposed to create a piece of music for exactly the purpose described above.

The Assignment: Let your slow breathing guide a piece of music.

Being lazy, I wanted the breathing itself to do the music. So I used plugins on my breathing, that use the source audio more or less as something to resonate on. At the end it's mainly AAS Object Delay and Micheal Norris Spectral Filterbank / Blurring / Bin Shift / Grain Streamer / Harmonizer plus filters, panning, reverb.
