"Losing You" delves into the  personal experience of losing someone you love due to Alzheimer’s or dementia.  It's about those moments when the connections to who they were are fractured and lost, and the clarity they once had about their identity becomes uncertainty as they fade away. This track captures the emotional weight of navigating through confusion and the search for understanding in the midst of inner chaos.
Dedicated to anyone who's experienced the pain of losing a loved one in this way, this song is a tribute to resilience, love and the memories that live on in our hearts.

method: taking the sl 2 (and some other pedals) for a ride into lush territories and then  being rigidly minimalist in the initial mixing … the initial mixing, yes …. things evolved a bit on the longish side, though ... I hope the endeavour is worth your while …. there will be carmenta pt2 soon, then employing the (older but less menue-diving) sl 20 pedal

I went there more than a decade ago and very much enjoyed mostly empty showrooms at year’s end, much to my delight. (actually, the poem is titled ETRURIA. For this album, however, three syllables  are mandated which is why I chose the name of the sibyl referred to, carmenta, who is supposed to have shifted the spelling of the letters to create the etruskan alphabet, later inspiring the „latin“ letters):
