Fractious is back on his record label Raw Worx with a peak time techno release that features two original tracks alongside remixes by Tom Wax and Heliosphere.

Based in Belfast, Fractious is a Northern Irish artist whose dark and hypnotic style blends industrial sounds with thrashing percussion. He has been releasing music for over a decade, and during that time has built up an impressive back catalogue including releases on labels such as Christian Smith's Tronic, Kaiserdisco's KD RAW and Ande Crom's OFF Recordings.

On remix duty, Tom Wax is a German techno veteran whose career spans back to the '90s and has released numerous classics on the likes of R&S Records, plus modern-day hits on imprints such as Reinier Zonneveld's Filth On Acid.

Also providing a remix, Heliosphere are a duo of Indian cousins from Mumbai whose raw and machine-driven style of analogue techno has been featured on labels such as Minitech, Black Square and Differed Records.

"Comanche Lost" opens the release with a stripped-back and murky groove that's driven by slamming bursts of chunky industrialised percussion. "Freak Nation" has fizzing hi-hats and distorted synths with spiralling progressions that along with the boom of the kick, form a mesmerising groove. Tom Wax delivers a deep and dystopian remix of Comanche Lost, while Heliosphere works in their own synth lines to create a trippy groove.
