Froe, Gav and Merf made up the nu-skool breaks collective The Breakfastaz, known in the early 2000's for their unique sound and a heavy hitter in the Tear Out Breaks scene at that time. With other musical projects going on later in their careers the lads gained a huge following leading them touring the world, releasing over 20 successful tracks and remixes for top labels such as Passenger, Mob & Against The Grain. In 2005 the Breakfastaz won Best Breakthrough Act at the Breakspoll World Breakbeat Awards.

This mix was recorded LIVE @ Dynamic Breaks 1st Birthday around 2007 (I forgot to name the file correctly when i downloaded it back then), it's straight up Tear Out Breaks, so it's a little bit gnarly !

Lore Breaks es una Dj cordobesa que comienza sus primeros pasos musicales en el mundo del Hip-Hop ya que empieza a practicar la técnica del Scratch en 2013. 

Este inicio la llevo a colaborar en varios eventos de la casa de la juventud de su ciudad pinchando música Hip-Hop y a pinchar en pequeños Pubs alternativos de Córdoba como el Goldem, Amapola Bar y Urban.

También ha trabajado aportando sus Scratches con distintos grupos de Hip-Hop, entre ellos hay que destacar su aporte para un proyecto producido y relizado por el rapero y beatmaker Rayka, del conocido grupo hablando en Planta, donde colabora en el album Una de Las Nuestras.

Su amor por la música Funky y el género Retro Breaks la llevaron en 2018 a querer explorar y aprender el arte de la mezcla de la música electrónica en vinilo, volviendo así a ese sonido, que junto con el Hip-Hop marcó su adolescencia, la música Break Beat.

El sonido Break Beat de las producciones actuales es algo que la ha cautivado por completo, es por ello por lo que en 2020 decide abrirse hacia esta nueva época de Break Beat Actual dando así un giro a sus Sets actualizando su sonido.

Sus Sets se caracterizan por la mezcla de sonidos contundentes con un toque de oscuridad, sin dejar de lado los ritmos Funky y más frescos del género, busca siempre despertar en el público el buen rollo, las ganas de bailar, y ese sentimiento que se tiene al escuchar la profundidad del bombo y caja que tanto ha distinguido a este género de música electrónica en nuestro país.

Lore Breaks ha tenido la oportunidad de presentarse dentro del panorama Break Beat en Andalucía actuando en salas como Idem Premium y M100 en Córdoba, Cosmos, Even y Sala X de Sevilla,  Complejo Embrujo, Sala El Tren e Industrial Copera de Granada y Salas True, Paris 15 y Trinchera de Malaga.
