Tom SPL was born in the depth of autumn 1985, as Tamás Bátki. Ever since he was a young boy, he has been in love with qualitative music. At the beginning he just started collecting tracks from passion, looking for those that make him to lose control. Over the years his collection got bigger and bigger including cassettes, cds, and mp3.
His musical style quickly became matured and smoothed.

We can say that - like it happens with most of the people -  his friends brought him into it all:
At the millenium Techno was already in full swing in the heart of the capital. Slowly he got carried away by the music: he got into the walls of the legendary Complex, in Szentendre, which impressed him completly. At this time he was on the other side of the record player, he just enjoyed the music, the lights, and the whole culture as long as he noticed on himself that his faith has become nothing else than:” techno is not only a music genre, it's a feeling, a lifestyle.”
Many of his works have been inspired by performers like : Chris Liebing, Speedy J., Cristian Varela, Eric Sneo, Umek, The Advent, and Hardcell and Grindvik. 
Around 2005 he started to find his own voice and felt that standing behind the soundboard  and mixing the music is not enough for him, he wanted to create his own.

In 2007 his first piece entitled ”Offline”  finally became audible from the loudspeaker.
The complexity and the sound of it were likeable to everyone, and he got a lot of encouragement. Taking courage from the good reception gave him new impetus to continue his producer career and his works. For today he has had more than 10 records. But he is not alone with his passion, he has common tracks with his great friends:Adam Frost and System Zoid.

Between 2007-2010 he performed  with the team of Fuerza, playing in clubs in Pest: Mono,K2,Diesel,Cökxpôn

In 2013 he got a chance to play on one of the largest festivals of Hungary: the Sziget Festival.
In the summer of 2014 he was a resident Dj at the after-parties of ReLoad.
From January 2014, he became a member of Minimal Art Family, where he was a resident Dj and programme planner.
Thanks to the MAF's transmissions he could work with several widely known artists like:
Dandy, Invoice, Davko, Mattan, Budai, Chriss Ronson, Maxim Kuznyecov and of course his resident mates.

His debut album Saver released in January 2013, published by the label BRM Electro. The album also hit the #50 spot on the  Beatport chart. 
His track called ”Black Chrome” with contribution from OPI  did reach #14 on the Traxsource chart in May 2014.
In 2014  his song with Adam Frost named ”The Beginning”  ranked #17 on the top list of   HTFRD.com.
2017 new album "Nightmare" ranked #7 on the top list of beatport chart.
And his started this year  netradio show.
He mostly plays techno but sometimes it happens he prefers softer versions of it.

Tom's plans for the future:
I would like to pay more attention for my work as a producer. More gigs and bigger labels are the goals.
I think the most important thing is that you should do what you love and what makes you feel involved.
When I write music I feel that I can be more complete and do what I truly love.

--Wild High is a 4 piece rock and roll band from the Mile High City that is moving people with their emotional and groove-laden music. When listening to the band's debut album "SDREAMS", it is clear that their influences come equally from the past and the present, evoking the playful songwriting of Beck or Pavement, the vocal delivery of Lou Reed and Julian Casablancas, the emotional lyricism of Kurt Cobain and the sonic exploration of contemporaries like Deerhunter and Tame Impala. 

Wild High was formed in the summer of 2012 by singer/songwriter Cody Coffey. Looking to elevate his repertoire of songs into a full band format, he enlisted the talents of bass player Pablo Cruz, guitarist Clay Cornelius and drummer Seamus Hannan. After a year of solid gigging and the addition of a new drummer Nick Layne, the band went into the studio with sonic wizard Alex Anderson (Rose Quartz/Man Cub) to record "SDREAMS", a ten song album that was recorded live in order to faithfully capture the band's live act. The future is exciting for Wild High, who have given themselves plenty of room to expand their sonic palate into whole new dimensions. My name is Jani Tuovinen alias Jann Wilde. I'm a singer-songwriter from Tampere, Finland. The Saturnettes are my indie/pop project, a moniker I use to do music. The first Saturnettes album - called The Saturnettes - came out in 2011. The follow-up is on its way.

Some have said The Saturnettes sound a bit like David Bowie, The Cure, Ultravox, Visage and The Jesus & Mary Chain which I don't mind at all because they're my favourite groups.

Before I founded The Saturnettes, I made three albums and some singles fooling around as Jann Wilde. I started out with the EP "Boys Out of New York" in 2004. A few years later came Tokio Okei (2007), then Neon City Rockers (2008) and finally Don't Play With The Flame On Your Hand (2010).

I formed The Saturnettes in 2010, keen to create something with a more suitable logo to make a better t-shirt. I asked my mates Kaide, Robin and Henrika to join, and together with a drum machine nicknamed Beat Pest we toured Finland and released the album "The Saturnettes" in November 2011. During the following summer we took a break, and we all focused on other projects. I went to finish "No Return", an album by 60s influenced band Volter which I started with my friend Antti way back in 2002.

Later in 2012, God gave me new songs. I teamed up German lyricist Kiki Sudden, and we started working on the second Saturnettes album. Henrika, Kaide and Robin also came to help me once again with the new record.

It will be released later this year. Sweet. 

Odd time signatures to afrobeat influences this band has it all. Each artist brings their own style and unique twist to the table, creating a much antisapated twist on every song they make keeping listeners enticed and wanting more. David’s incredible drums solos are not to be missed along with Kallum’s entrancing melodies on his guitar. Prisha, Katie and Natalie combine their vocals styles to create a unique blend of harmonies and vocal lines. Daniels uncommon percussive and finger picking guitar playing adds to the multi genre fusion which is one of the fundamental instruments in the track “Who Are You Seeing”. An afrobeat song with an acoustic finish including instruments such as the Cajon, acoustic bass and acoustic guitar. Alongside we have the highly anticipated song “Save Her” a multi genre track ranging from swing, contemporary and reggae. Last but not least we have “11/8” an improvised piece with futuristic synth and stunning harmonies, fused together with complex drum rhythm and an electric guitar with melodies that would melt butter, this is one not to be missed. This band is one of a kind and will look to push the boundaries of music to make new and unique forms of music.

As a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer, Apil had been making music ever since high school. He founded his first band Paranoid Pest (1992-1995) during the phenomenal growth of Malaysian indie bands in the 90s.

Based in Kuala Lumpur, the shoe-gazing indie pop Paranoid Pest were actively gigging with their then neighbourhood friends and counterparts, OAG and Butterfingers circa 1994 to 1995. As the band members went on to college, Paranoid Pest were unfortunately disbanded without ever been signed to any record label unlike their counterparts despite being one of the frontrunners in the local indie scene then. During the same period, Apil had also founded his side post-punk band, Toothpicks (1994-1997). Although the band were initially meant to play songs that didn’t make the cut for Paranoid Pest i.e. the B-sides, Toothpicks eventually came out with their own fresh materials that gained some attention which led to good reviews in the Blasting Concept column in The Sun newspaper, penned by Joe Kidd of Carburetor Dung in 1995. The band were eventually offered a record deal by Universal Music Malaysia but they had to turn it down due to the requirements that they must leave their studies and be a full time band.

While in college, Apil continued to write songs and record personal demos but he never released them publicly until he came out with ‘bn’ (1999-2002), an electro dance punk outfit which stands for Bruxceed i.e. Apil and Nenryou i.e. Fahmi of Toothpicks. Their music then received positive reviews from the local music magazine, TONE. His last collaborative effort was the alternative/indie act, ‘orang’ (2003-2006) which featured members from both Paranoid Pest and Toothpicks, with the mission to revive all the unreleased Toothpicks songs. Their music was made available on CDs first and later on the Internet.

His current endeavour since 2007 is his solo effort that delved into punk, rock, electronic, dance and pop of his own paradigm that he dubbed “electronative”. Although Paranoid Pest were revived with Apil leading a new line up back in 2009 for one live show, he decided to disband them since the band were heading to a totally different direction than they were before.

After several solo years of writing, producing and recording his own music, his best solo works were compiled for his debut album “Rebirth”. Previously released independently in February 2015, the album was recently re-released through AWAL (Artists Without A Label) in September 2017 but now include his latest single, ‘How Long?”. ~ Azwad (Sunday Workers)

My dad, Chet Van Lannen played  clarinet for a while in a little group named Matskie’s Men About Town. They played every other Sunday on the Bandstand at Bay Beach Amusement park. He brung me with too, and when the band would take a break to go catch a beer or something they would let me fool around with the organ just to keep me from bein’ a pest. One day dey came back an I’m sitting there playing the Whiffenpoof  song like nobody’s business, from that day on I was hooked. 

Once they seen I was serious, they sent me to my Aunt Verna. Verna had one of them pump organs. It wasn’t much to listen to, sounded like a camel giving birth to an elephant, but it was a good starter.  It had a pump that you pumped with your right foot while you played.  By the time I was fourteen I had a right thigh muscle the size of a Pulaski ham. 

I played birthday parties and family gatherings mostly. One spring we had Father Ollmann, from St. Bernard’s parish, over for Sunday brunch, and he suggested I play for the Easter services. 
I played everyday after school learning all the standards. “Holy, Holy, Holy,” “Peace in Heaven,” “Easter Parade’’ and a spiritual called. “Hey Lazarus You Can Get Up Now.” When Easter came I was as nervous as a lawn chair at a fat farm, but I got through it okay and got some applause. 

In the 50’s I moved down to Milwaukee, I started out playing the churches again, but I was getting restless and plus the pay aint all that good, so I started looking for other work. The first place I worked was the Roll’a’Bowl on Fifth. I drove by there a couple summers ago but there aint nothing there no more. That winter they opened up a indoors ice-skating rink too, down by the Mayfair. You could skate all day for a dime, fifteen cents if you had to rent skates. 
It was a couple a years later that they started putting out them new electric organs. The two big ones on the market where the Hammond, and the Whirlitzers. Them organs were fancy, but they didn’t play themselfs , and so every November they hired somebody to demonstrate all the features. Mostly what you did was just play all day and switch it back an forth between the different instruments so that folks could get a feel for it. Make it look easy, even though it isn’t! But which I made look like it was. 

About my forth day of showing off, I keep seeing the same young gal showing up to hear me play. She was a cute in her black and white saddles, and Saint Mathew’s school uniform, and right away I knew I had to know her better. One day while the boss was away I asked her if she wanted to sit down and try it for herself. 
Now, one thing I have to make clear is this was against the first rule of floor demonstrations. And they were very strict about it too; never let the customer touch your organ. If they touch it, the boss always said, they’d find out how hard it actually was, and then they wouldn’t want one for themselves. Even though I caught holy heck from the manager, it was a good thing I talked to her and found out her name that day, because she turned out to be my wife, Mrs. Evelyn Van Lannen. 

In the insinuating years following, I made a pretty good living playing weddings and wakes, brat fests and Brewer’s games, but the lifestyle of a professional musician, aint never easy, and there was a couple of three nights there were I didn’t come home till sometimes 11:30. 1976 was a particularly crazy year what with the bicentennial and all, and Evelyn suggested that maybe it was time to settle down some, so that fall we packed up the family and moved up to Lena.

There was a supper club in Lena called the Asp-Inn, where you could get a prime rib special for $6.95. It came with salad and bread bar, your choice of potato, and a cup of instant homemade French onion soup. The owner of the place, Less Vanness, played the synthesizer, which was really just an organ but with more buttons, but it also had its own drum setting, so you could play waltz or salsa, even disco if you wanted. 
Lucky for me, one winter Less drove his Ski-doo through the ice, up on Kelly Lake, he didn’t die or nothing, but his fingers got pretty frostbit, and whenever he played people said it sounded like a gorilla wearing work gloves. 
Finally he just quit altogether an asked me if Ev’ would mind me playing a couple nights a week. I said I could talk her into it which I was pretty sure I could do, since they stopped serving at 9:30.

So I rented a recording studio and made “Elmer Vanlannen’s Dinner For Two”. The studio technician loved it. His exact words were, “I can’t believe you did this.” Which is pretty much the reaction I’ve been getting from everyone who listens to it. 
So mix a couple of Black Russains, have some onion sticks and cheese spread, then sit back and relax, your dinners will be out shortly.
