Historie FretNoiz Records 98:

Původně tříčlenný a později i pětičlenný projekt FretNoiz vznikl 1.1.1998 z původního projektu Y3DDSRND který založili v červenci 1997 hudební nadšenci a později producenti; Riko-X (dnes ADZi) a Smük (dnes Zkumavka) k nimž se přidal od 1.1.1998 i Vilda a po roce 1999 i Hotty (dnes Fenec) a Stoom (dnes Revizor Xindl).
Z počátku se jednalo o formaci několika lidí s různými zkušenostmi v hudebním odvětví, později s nákupem techniky a získáváním zkušeností se FretNoiz stal aktivním přispěvovatelem pro tehdejší i dnešní amatérskou elektronickou hudbu všech možných stylů od hiphopu, přes trance, breakbeat, drumandbass, ambient, downtempo až po techno, tekno a různé experimenty. Každý z členů vynikal svým umem a to dělalo z FretNoiz celek který rok co ro vydával nejedno album napráskané elektronickou hudbou různých žánrů a jejich subžánrů.

Ovšem lidé z FretNoiz přicházeli a bohůžel také odcházeli.
Rok 2000 přinesl razantní změny. Nejprve odešel Vilda který zastával funkce člověka, který měl ambice na internetu a dostával nás mezi lidi a sám dělal dokonalou produkci mnoha žánrů, rok 2001 byl pro změnu jakýmsi freeze-time pro celou FretNoiz crew. Riko-X (ADZi) odchází do výkonu branné povinosti na ZvS a půl roku na to odchází na ZvS i Stoom. Mezi tím se v roce 2001-2002 z FretNoiz nadobro strácí Hotty (Fenec) který zastával funkci hudebního kritika, a pomocníka při tvorbě hudby a po návratu ze ZvS se na čas (až do roku 2009) z crew FretNoiz oddaluje i Stoom, který se přestěhoval, a musel čelit mnoha změnám v životě které mu neumožnovali se naplno věnovat další aktivní funkci ve FretNoiz. Stále byl a do dnes je čestným členem FretNoiz i přes to, že v roce 2010 odjíždí na neurčito za hranice ČR.

Duben 2002 je také návratem Riko-X (ADZiho) zpět do FretNoiz kde již zůstali pouze On a Smük (Zkumavka).
Tato dvojce zůstala až do ponzimu roku 2003 kdy i Smük odchází z FretNoiz, ale tak jako Stoom zůstává čestnám členem FretNoiz crew i nadále až do dnes.
Rok 2004 je tady rokem kdy je třeba změna.

Riko-X mění pseudonim na Armigen jako producent a ADZi jako DJ a po nějakém čase vymizelo i jméno Armigen a zůstalo pouze ADZi jako producent i jako DJ.
DJing vstoupil do FretNoiz již v roce 1999 kdy tehdá ještě jako Riko-X (ADZi) sehnal DJ vybavení (gramofony + mix a zvuk) a nastala doba nakupování vinylových desek různých stylů. Z počátku se jednalo o trance, dance a techno desky, a postupem času se přess garage styl dostávalo až na breakbeat (hlavně 2002) a CZ/SK hip-hop (převážně 2003) a od roku 2004/2005 i na drumandbass, později i tekno a i různé experimenty.

Jako DJ fungoval od roku 1999/2000 pouze ADZi, částečně Hotty i Smük, ale naplno v tom pokračoval až do roku 2006 pouze ADZi. Rok 2006 totiž přinesl zprávu, že Stoom na druhém konci města rozjíždí vlastní dráhu drumandbassového DJe a tak FretNoiz opět posílilo o jednoho DJe.
Stoom se nadále aktivně o vývoj FretNoiz (nyní již FretNoiz Records od r 2006) příliš nevěnoval a tak ADZi stál sám před rozjetou věcí, kterou nemohl jen tak nechat padnout. Nakoupil novou SW i HW výbavu a pokračoval dál v produkci i DJingu.

A co že to vlastně na FretNoiz Records (dále již FNR) od 1.1.1998 vyšlo za alba ?
Jako první bylo demo album The Earth které vyšlo na jaře 1998, které obsahovalo převážně trance, dance a techno skladby z produkce celé crew FNR, v roce 1998 vyšlo ještě album The Earth II. které bylo okořeněno novými samply z našich "šuplíků" a oboje tato alba vyšla na MC audio.casette, ovšem razantní zlom nastal v listopadu 1998, kdy se poprvé po nákupu dvou vypalovacích zařízení na CD vydávalo právě na na CD-Audio. Technologie MP3 byla v plném proudu a její kvalita se rovnala pomalu kvalitě CD což vedlo k tomu že jsme zůstali u této kompresní technologie i nadále. Onoho magického dne 11.11.98 se vydalo album Unformat (CD verze i MC).

Roky 1999 - 2001 přinesli 3 alba Unformat 2, Unformat 3 a Unformat 4 která byla spíše v rytmu elektronicko-akustické hudby a různých experimentů. Bohůžel potom dorazilo ono mrtvé období roku 1/2001 až do 4/2002 kdy nevyšlo nic, a to tedy z výše uvedených důvodů okolo odchodů několika členů z FNR a dalších věcí okolo toho.

Ovšem duben 2002 přinesl nové album, které po malých částech ADZi jako Armigen schranoval a shrabával z šuplíků. Vyšlo tenkrát na CD album Forever Good Bye které obsahoval směs různých stylů, různých experimentů které vznikali jak doma tak přímo v prostorech armády ČR kde ADZi sloužil. Následující roky až do roku 2005 byli poměrně aktivní, protože se vydalo 5 alb s názvy: Toozer, FlashCrew, Hip In Ass, Drumandbass Underground a Medithor která obsahovala různé cooperace přátel z odvětví elektronické hudby, několik spoluprací s tehdejšími členy FNR atp. Rok 2006 je opět rokem kdy ADZi nemá tolik času a musí na ůkor své zábavy věnovat velkou část roku 2006 své mladé rodině a prvorozenému synovi.

Listopad 2006 už ovšem opět nastává čas věnovat se FNR a proto se začíná opět dělat na produkci, mezi tím proběhlo několik desítek DJ akcí kde ADZi hrál a dokonce čas od času měl možnost z CD hrát i vlastní produkci která na FNR vycházela.
V roce 2006 se také dává FNR dohromady s pražskou partičkou CČM Fellas kteří působí jako hudební producenti a DJové okolo hiphopu, breaku, funku a drumandbassu, tím se ADZi od září 2006 stává plnohodnotným členem CČM Fellas což trvá do dnes.

Rok 2005-2007 také přinesl 2 nová alba Mistral (obsahovalo i několik remixů známých skladeb) a jedno čistě experimentální album s názvem Exper'I'ment:ALL, kde bylo ke slyšení mnoho meditační hudby, ambientu a downtempa, tedy stylů které v roce 2006 ADZimu velice učarovali a až do dnes se jimi věnuje jako DJ, i jako producent, nebo jimi podkládá své skladby jiných subžánrů a stylů.

Přelom roku 2006/2007 přinesl také spolupráci s partičkou která si říká TheEdge kterou zprvu tvoří dva producenti a DJové n-Core a SoKrE a kam se po čase přidává i ADZi jako její součást a řada dalších hudebních nadšenců z řad DJů i producentů.
Rok 2007-2009 je ve spolupráci právě TheEdge a FNR a vydávají se další 3 alba a to sice: Infective (album proti radarové základně v ČR) na kterém kromě ADZiho hostovali i člěnové The.Edge crew Dj N-Core a Sokre se svými 3 skladbami, dále to bylo v roce 2009 albumListen This které bylo plné všemožných experimentů v rámci drumandbassu a breakbeatu, a třetí album s názvem Transparent Mirror, jenž bylo plné starého drumandbassu a také jedné nikdy nevydané skladby z roku 1999 v "new remake" edici speciálně pro FNR.

Mezi tím ADZi propojuje své zkušenosti z odvětví produkce i DJingu s další partičkou, tentokrát z východu čech, která si říká Jungleradical Crew kde figurovali z počátku dvě jména Jd Bass a Bomb da Base k nimž se v roce 2009 přidal ještě HVL a v roce 2010 další jména jako Jungling.Jay, Castus, Wakku, Penza a ADZi z FNR čím že z Jungleradical crew (dále jen JRC) stává 8 členná crew DJů, MCs a producentů z celé ČR.

Rok 2010 přináší také 3 nová alba, A:ROUND (ADZi: Remembrance Of UNDerground), což byl ve směs drumandbass částečně se zvukem z konce 90. let a začátku millénia a přechodných fází z pravé raveové scény do mnoha stylů jako vlivu), druhé album roku 2010 bylo Hope Dies Last, kde různorodá hudební selekce tohoto alba se nedá přiřadit k žádnému škatulkování, což dává tomuto unikátnímu albu široké možnosti a uplatnění. Poslední album roku 2010 na labelu FretNoiz Records, je Back to The Top, tedy album plné nového ADZiho drumandbassu ovšem s oldschool zvuky a podklady o čemž i název alba napovídá.

To je tak ve velké kostce (ne)stručná historie FretNoiz Records 98 (FNR), a co je ještě důležité podotknout, že od listopadu roku 1998 se přiřazuje ke každému vydanému albu, kompilaci i demu na FNR ctg.number. Poslední album Back To The Top je v pořadí 17 s číslem FNR0017.

Rok 2011 by měl přinést širší spolupráci s dalšími producenty a to především s Jd Bassem z JRC, který se po letech opět vrátil kromě DJingu také zpět k produkci. Na jaře 2011 vyjde kompilační CD jakého si vyběru těch nejlepších a nebo nejnostalgičtějších skladeb co na FNR za bezmála 14 let existence vyšli, a k tomu několik tracků od již zmíněného JD Basse jako extra bonus od speciálního hosta na albu.
Rozhodně rokem 2011 nic nekončí ba naopak.

Praha based punk/rock founded by band members from Košice, Slovakia, comprised of characters from Moravia, Praha, Czech Republic and New York City, America, with a common bond; music as a form of expression and communication of idea/philosophy that overcomes the limitations of language. Being from different cultural backgrounds each member contributes their perspective and experience, at times loudly contrasting opinions other times complimenting a common vision of a cooperative, compassionate and confounding world… personal and societal responsibilities most importantly being the burden of speaking truth, in its rawest form.

The band stands united in their "f*ck-the-trend" truth, preferring the medium of sexy, groovy & shiny locally pressed VINYL RECORDS over the cheap dimwitted plastic CD (a format which both audience and industry neglects like a call-girl from Calcutta).

I have always been moved by electronic music..there's just something about it. Maybe it's because it remains one of the only things in the world that can shatter the language barrier &amp; bring people together from all countries of the world. Also, unlike primitive songs (predominantly poorly vocalized), this music can only become stale after the human ear has no remaining sounds left to hear period! There are no limits to what someone can use to originalize a single sound. It is a fact that the Arabic language (1 of the oldest &amp; most concrete languages still spoken) excites the electrons of some matter when spoken by someone out loud. Now if that's the case with a simple statement..then what will the evolution of this very powerful, non-bias sound uncover @ the pinnacle of its lifecycle? I think music is unmeasurably more meaningful than anyone had ever anticipated, &amp; I just wanna be there when it brings us to the next level of conscienceness.
