As a recipient of the Dave Stillwell Arranging Award, Mason Victoria has been described as ".... an emerging writer with a solid grasp of the craft of composition and a story to tell ..." (Scott Reeves, Director of Scott Reeves Jazz Orchestra). Through his studies in trumpet performance at Humber College, Mason found his passion in writing for large ensemble, which led to his creation of the Sonuskapos Jazz Orchestra (SSJO), a 19-piece contemporary jazz ensemble featuring all-original compositions and arrangements. The SSJO is currently in their process of mixing their first album entitled "Imagine We're Sailing.", a 7-track full length big band album recorded at Humber Studios. Mason has recently been featured on Jazz FM’s one-hour Jazzology program in which he spoke about the creation of his large ensemble.
Aside from writing for the SSJO, Mason has composed and arranged for many jazz and pop groups such as ART // THE BIG BAND, Shaw Street Collective, The New Music Jazz Orchestra (New York), the UNIVOX Choir, Masini McDermot's One Night Only, James Valdez & The Neovintage, Dennis Kwok's 10tet, and ensembles at Humber College and Los Angeles College of Music. Mason has had his original piece “Willow Trees" performed by the Toronto Jazz Orchestra at the age of 19, and has arranged for Emilie Claire-Barlow at the age of 21. Mason is also an artistic associate for Spectrum Music, a collective of Canadian composer who create and present genre-defying new music based on unique concert themes. Mason has recently been featured on Jazz FMs “Jazzology” program, as well as has won the TD Jazz Discovery Series grant alongside Chelsea McBride’s Socialist Night School.

The Harmonica Lewinski`s were formed in 1999 and have a rich and colourful history spanning over several weeks. They met at the new famous table 21 during $5 meals night at the Canberra Labour Club. After toasting with their chicken schnitzel burgers to music, vibe and being famous they vowed to create the greatest band there ever was.

Matt resides in Gunnedah and his brother is an Australian champion line dancer. He came into the band having written the now cult favourite `The Country Practice Song`. Adam had to leave his surfboard behind in Austinmer, Wollongong, opting for a wave-free architecture course, but didn`t forget his music. A composer of many instrumentals, when playing his harmonious 12-string guitar you swear the instrument sang words for itself. Justin was the band`s only overseas student. Born and bred in Burnie Tasmania, he had recently recorded a raw CD of originals including `smells like Hellyer Spirit` a song he wrote for the final day assembly at Hellyer College. Promoted from roadie to music utility, Harmonica`s were glad to tap into Tammy`s talents developed during her time with the Bolivian big brass band. And then there`s Stew, the pots and pans man, the king of skins, the human metronome of multimedia.

Together, the band gave birth to some of the most influential songs of the millennium, with none of them remembering how to play them the next morning. During these early days the band played a string of secret gigs on the abandoned stage on campus, usually towards midnight with a couple of fans and security witnessing. Their big break come on the final day of University when they were asked to play the 9 to 11am slot the morning after stomp, a massive all night dance party. Bright eyed and bushy tailed, the boys played valiantly in front of a crowd of bleary eyed and pushy males. However, their Acoustic originals were no match for the violent requests of the Living End and the theme from Love boat. Ever since arriving in Canberra the group had discovered that the movement towards techno and electronica was far greater than that of the vibe driven casual acoustica of the Harmonica Lewinskis`s. To their bewilderment the preferred entertainment for the uni bar happy hour was the Thumping break beats of a DJ, not the smoothing caress of a guitar. Something was amiss. There was no spirit in this music. No soul. Nothing remotely Turban. This was not the soundtrack to lounging in the sun and having a quite beer. It was time to take action, and on that fateful day the boys marched into the university of Canberra Union and collected the forms to start their own movement: The Harmonica Lewinski`s  Muso`s Club. The band had learnt an important lesion. If it`s not there, you have to make it happen yourself.

The year 2000 has been a big one for the Harmonica`s, Inspiring the University to establish `acoustic Wednesdays` in a bar once a week and making it into the ACT finals of the campus band competition. And as far as their battle with electronica goes, as the Harmonicas say, say can`t beat `em cover `em``.

    SAD group was created in September 1982 as an amateur musical collective  in Dniepropetrovsk (south-east Ukraine). 

    Further destiny of the group was defined by the period of disintegration USSR that made it's "underground" deeper, there were two "clinical" deaths of "SAD" during above time, which had led to leaving of some perspective musicians out of the band, painful reassessment of the achieved results and, as a natural consequence, change of structure and enlightenment of "survived" participants of the group by new creative ideas. 
    Since December 1994 "SAD" group became the professional independent musical collective (SAD Ltd.), and since 1997 after moving to Kiev, continued struggle for the right to independent creativity in conditions of actual absence of show - business in Ukraine.
    The group determines their creativity as conceptual hard-rock and try to follow its best traditions. The musicians perform songs in Russian and Ukrainian using their own compositions as well as works of the great masters of a poetic genre, such as Taras Shevchenco, Daneel Andreyev, Maximilian Voloshin, Sharl Bodler, Migel de Unamuno and others.

    Russian album "Transmutator" - 14 tracks, written by "SAD", total time - 80 minutes, recorded live and mastered by "Ole Lukoуe" studio in Dniepropetrovsk (Ukraine) in May 2000, produced by "SAD Ltd." , published by "Musiс Faсtorу Group" in Kyiv (Ukraine) in March 2001;
    Two-hour musical show at Taras Shevchenco poetry "DOLE DE TY?!" (Fate, where are you?!") - nineteen compositions in Ukrainian language, created together with the Brass Exemplary-Demonstration Orchestra of Ukrainian Armed Forces;
    An acoustic version of the "DOLE DE TY?!" (Fate, where are you?!) project in the album "DOLE DE TY?!" under support of Youth League, Art-Continent Sutdio and Karavan-CD;
    Two-hour cultive musical show "GADES" at Russian and world classical poetry, 12 compositions in Russian;
    The second edition of the ACOUSTIC Ukrainian album "DOLE, DE TY?!" (Faith, where are you?!), dedicated to the 190th anniversary of Taras Shevchenko birthday and 13th anniversary of the Independence of Ukraine. Released at JRC company, August 2004;
    The project "Mankind? Wake up!" - 8 songs in Ukrainian language. Demo-release made in Studios "MED-APRIS"(Vinnitsa, Ukraine), "LEMMA" (Kyiv, Ukraine), "UMARecords"(Dniepropetrovsk, Ukraine), 2004-2005;

    "SKARB" project - several songs in electrical arrangements. Texts by Olexander Yevtushenko, music by Karlen Mkrtchan. Demo-release made in Studio "MED-APRIS", mastering - "UMARecords", 2004;
    The album "Dvorovaya Pesnya" ("Street's Song") - 10 songs in Russian language, recorded in Studio "UMARecords"(Dniepropetrovsk, Ukraine), 2006. Released at JRC company, May 2006;
    Double CD-album of SAD group - "Fate, where are you?! Live". 14 compositions i Ukrainian language. This album is the live recording from the Concert in the Central Palace of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (March 16 2006), devoted to memory of the 192-th Anniversary of the great Ukrainian poet Taras Shevchenko. The CD was released with the help of Charitable Fund "UKRAINE". Recoreded by "UMARecords" studio, published by "JRC" company in March 2007.

Formed in 2009 To The Chase are a 2 piece Indie / Soul band from Hackney, East London. The members of the band are Jim Rooney (Drums) and Aaron Kravitz (Guitar & Vocals). Live they are joined by a Bass player, Keyboard player and a Brass section.

From a basement in Hackney, songwriters Aaron Kravitz and Jim Rooney digested hour upon hour of electronic music and set themselves the challenge of piecing together timeless melodies, while honouring the high energy ethos of the drum and bass and dub-step genres. Much time was devoted to tinkering with antiquated EMU samplers with drum triggers, and old analogue synthesisers. Diverse musical tastes (ranging from Led Zeppelin, The Beatles and Chuck Berry) and open minds ensured that early 2009 was the unwitting beginning of a project that would come be called To The Chase.

With full time jobs to hold down, every spare hour and resource was devoted to recording, analysing, and re-recording again their efforts to realise the collective vision. Kravitz and Rooney entered a period of intense creativity in which they developed a deeper understanding of the direction they were moving toward, ultimately feeling that the drum and bass form was too rigid a framework for them to fully explore their ideas within. Guitars became the new focus and they reduced their orchestrations down to vocals, a guitar, bass and drums. Experimenting with a variety of tempos now, they became unyielding in the styles of music they were willing to record, and the collective influences among the duo began to come to the forefront of the project. Indie, drum and bass, soul and dance music reared their heads and the band’s own style shone through.

As the project evolved and early recordings appeared, To The Chase picked up a mentor in the form of Andrew Loog Oldham, The Rolling Stones' original manager, who encouraged the band to hole up at Chapel Studios and entrust mixing duties to Ewan Davies and Barny Barnicott (Arctic Monkeys, Kasabian, Noisettes). Davies and Barnicott turned out to be inspired choices as To The Chase plot a packed release schedule for their Indie/ Soul crossover sound in 2011.

Papo "Fizz" Mc also known as just 'Papo', grew up on Chicago's south side. He was originally a Graffiti Artist, Break-dancer and an original member of the Zulu Nation since 1983. During the period of 1985, 1986 & 1987 he was a member of FUSION DANCE PROMOTIONS a top competing DJ and Party Promotion Company of the times.  As a crew member he had VIP access to many of the City's most Awesome Parties and some of the City's "Treasure Spots". In addition, Papo Fizz Mc was instrumental in the creation of numerous Daytime Parties, House Parties and Underground Basement Parties on Chicago’s Southside. In a world of endless Djs hustling for gigs, Tuck-in-Tyler truly stands out: In his first year on the decks, the Vancouver native played Shambhala, Bass Coast, Tall Tree, What the Festival and Pemberton – all without being booked for them.

A local sound tech familiar with Funktion-One and PK systems, after years of working behind the scenes Tyler jumped in front of the crowds in 2015 with eye opening immediate success. Not only is he versed in house and breaks, he can read the crowd and connect with them anywhere, delivering what the dance floor needs. Tyler is gifted with reading people, and that helps him read crowds and work well with people. When an artist can't make the show, Tyler will be there to step in. When new opportunities arise, Tyler can be counted on to deliver. There is no timeslot he won't take on, no style he can't play and no crew he can't work with. 

Tyler is a new selector from the old school – in an age where many performers pre-arrange entire sets and rely on a “Sync” button to make the music flow together, he prefers the tactile feel of the control vinyl on Tech-12s, reading the vibe of the room and finding the bridge to connect in that moment. They just don't make 'em like this anymore.

Through his skills, work ethic and attitude, Tuck-in-Tyler has quickly become one of the most prolific Djs in the Vancouver community. Through his work with cutting edge bass sound system companies, he will be at many of the most amazing events in British Columbia this year, and he will be ready to smash audiences on an even greater scale than his electric first year.

A native of a city known for its great arts scene, Chicago, Illinois, Alex Lattimore is no stranger to the world of music.  Serving as the male vocalist in the former Giant Step Records performing group Jiva, led by Khari Simmons (former bass player for India.Arie), Alex has been notably compared to the vocal stylings of such artists as Luther Vandross and Will Downing. At the early age of 5, he began his journey with piano and trumpet lessons while also engaging in the youth choir ensemble at his home church.  This led him to perform with a host of phenomenal groups such as the Chicago Youth Philharmonic Orchestra, Sherwood Conservatory Brass Ensemble, Roosevelt University Jazz Band, and the University of Chicago Chamber Orchestra.  Alex’s musical journey continued in Atlanta, Georgia, serving as both a horn player (trumpet and flugel) and lead/background vocalist with a number of Atlanta-based acts.  This platform allowed him to showcase his countless talents as a songwriter, arranger, instrumentalist, and vocalist. 

	With his dynamic abilities, Alex was catapulted into opportunities to open for and perform with internationally renowned artists like Tina Turner, Luther Vandross, Michael McDonald, India.Arie, Earl Klugh, The Rippingtons, Groove Collective, Roy Ayers, Kindred The Family Soul, Loose Ends, and Maysa Leak.  Alex’s vocals have also graced the beautifully written duet entitled “The Matrimony” from Rhonda Thomas’ album “Breathe New Life”. Collaborating also with D.J. Kemit (formerly of the Grammy award winning group Arrested Development), Alex released a single entitled “Rush Hour” (featuring Takana Miyamoto), which found its place on the P-Vine Records compilation “Sol Com Bossa”. 

Alex completed his highly anticipated first debut solo album “Promise” released in 2008.  This album received critical acclaim, including consideration for Best Jazz Vocal album for the ‘08 Grammy Awards.  He has performed at the Atlanta Jazz Festival, Cape Town Jazz Festival, Southwest Arts Center, National Black Arts Festival, The Rialto Theatre, Villa Christina, and a number of venues in and outside of Atlanta.  

Alex’s current projects include being a co-writer and featured vocalist on the song entitled “Just Let Go” with Grammy nominated pianist Jeff Lorber and saxophonist/flautist Najee on Joey Sommerville’s latest album. His voice is also heard on the title track of EC Coleman’s album “Her Eyes at Sunset”, new recordings from The Ananda Project, as well as his next upcoming solo release.
