Good Morning To You My Sweetheart (Ver. 2024)

When I first heard a recording of Bernard Loffet of Bretagne playing his wonderful tune Valse a Mary on one of his own button box accordions that he made, I was entranced by the beautiful Bretagne folk song sound of this song that he composed for his wife. So, I emailed him and he licensed me the permission to add my lyrics and sing my version. I am playing my accordion and am accompanied by my husband on Irish bouzouki. It's a charming little song that reminds me of the days when I composed it, when we were living in a small mountain cabin in the Sierra Nevada Mountains at Lake Tahoe. I will always remember summers there, when the cabin was surrounded by beautiful wildflowers and we made our music on the edge of a river meadow. Eternally grateful that I can distribute my happy upbeat and magical song, in collaboration with Bernard Loffet.
