Mama de Leche is a non-binary POC DJ and Producer based in so-called Sydney. 

For the past few years, they've been hiding away in nipaluna / Hobart, where they've been helping to grow the LGBTIQ+ community with projects such as Judy's, "Leg Up" a QTPOC-focused DJ program and NASTY Party, which has platformed some of our generations most talented - Kalyani, Sovblkpussy, Stevzar, DJ SEZZO, Kilimi, Princi, Tinika and internationals like The Illustrious Blacks and I. JORDAN. 

On the Island, you will have seen them playing at one of Australia's biggest art and culture festivals, Dark Mofo, year after year, trusted to play with the likes of international heavy hitters such as Tyga Paw, Nathan Fake, COBRAH and Cakes da Killa, closing out the Festivals Night Mass in 2022. 

They've opened for some of Australia's biggest acts, such as Hermitude, Golden Features, Slumberjack, Sneaky Sound System and iconic Y2K hyper princess jamesjamesjames. A true proud vers.

Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras (2023), you will have caught this vers act playing the Festival's main stage at Fair Day and Ultra Violet, diving daringly into a set right after legend Jennifer Loveless. In 2024, sharing a stage at Mardi Gras biggest - the Bondi Beach Party with the likes of Slayyyter, Sophie Ellis Bexter and of course, at the official Mardi Gras After Party. 

Weaving genres like their gender, plucking sounds from their culture and traversing decades, Mama de Leche's only intention is lifting you up and plucking you out from your bubble to bringing you to a place of joy, curiosity and love.
