Sonic Origins - Invincibility (Sonic 2 Styled VGM)

It's time for the happy and joyous holiday season, so what better way to celebrate than by making a remix of a zone that used to be eternal summer until Robotnik turned it into a nuclear winterland?

STT16BIT is probably one of my favorite fangames ever. It's crazy just how much work was put into making it a realistic followup to S3&K; the level design, music, art, pretty much all of it feels accurate to the official 2D Genesis Sonic games, while also not forgetting its Game Gear roots during the process. Robotnik Winter in particular left a huge impression on me, both cause I love snow areas in games and cause I think it's extremely well done. Both acts have banger music, so I knew pretty quickly that I wanted to remix one of them, which... well, I ended up doing lol. I hope you all like the take I did on it!

Robotnik Winter Zone Act 1 (Sonic Triple Trouble 16-Bit) | Remix

I did these in late 2021 for the project "Sonic 3 RSDK" which was basically meant to be a proof of concept for RSDK modding and a recreation of the Sonic 3 mobile prototype. Beyond just cleaning the tracks up with modern mixing tools, since this is the Retro Engine, my job was to make these tracks LOUD AS FUCK. So that's what I did.

Heya! I've just released my first album, Launch! It features a lot of my original works from the last few years I've been composing music!

In The Zone is the 1st track on Launch, and it's a funky Mega Drive bop that originally came into my head while I was really bored in class one day. As soon as I arrived home, I was straight on my PC and composing it!

Of course, this isn't the only song on the album! All up, there are 12 lovingly crafted tunes to enjoy, and at a price of AU$7.50!
