Just a little ditty I made on my iPad earlier today on my during school! The title comes about of the fact that I could easily imagine this tune being the music for when you are selecting a save file in a video game. :-P

I have many other songs that I've created with GarageBand other than this one, so I'll probably be uploading those in the near (or far!) future.

File Select (original song)

I created this song when I was messing around with the echo effect with some of the GarageBand instruments- much of the song's main melody is defined by the echo effect on the electric piano! I might upload a version of the song without the echo effect to show how different it would sound. 

It's been a while since I've uploaded- I probably have some other stuff lying around that I could probably upload. Of course with the 6 hour upload limit looming over my shoulder, who knows how much more music I'll be able to upload... ._.

Well... either way, be sure to let me know in the comments what you think of the song- I'm always open to criticism!! :D

Robotic Hip Hop

This song is a slight departure from my usual composing habits- a pretty heavy techno vibe to it as oppose to the more traditional style that some of my other songs have. I discovered that  badass "BUWOOOOHHHHHHH" noise at the beginning of the song when I was exploring the numerous keyboard instruments in GarageBand and found it in the synth pads or something- I don't remember what it was called, but I'll try and find it. Anyways, I raised both the attack and the release so that the instrument would crescendo in and sort of "build up" and then gradually decrescendo and fade away once you let go. Then I just sort of made a song out of it- I added a really deep bass, put in a drum line, and added some backing organ and a melody using the electric piano to give as the finishing touches.

Unfortunately, this song is actually incomplete- I wasn't able to finish this song before the end of 9th grade, when we had to wipe our school iPads and return them to the school. ._. Oh well- either way, I'm honestly pretty proud of this song- like I said, it's sort of a departure from my usual style of composing, and I think it turned out pretty god damn well, all things considered!

Mah iPad, 2017

A sp00ky Night (Original)

This is a song I created a while back via GarageBand during 9th grade. Unfortunately, it isn't really finished- I wanted to created a 3rd part of the song with both piano and organ in it, but wasn't able to before the end of the school year when we gave our iPads back. Oh well- I think that what I was able to create is pretty damn good for the most part.

I actually had already uploaded this song to Soundcloud, but I wanted to re-upload it, as there was something the matter with the bass- it wasn't as strong as it should've been. Unfortunately that means I lost the original description for this song, which was a whole lot longer and more thought out. But oh well- hopefully the bass will be better. Either way, tell me in the comments your thoughts on this song- I always appreciate constructive criticism! :) Expect more songs to be uploaded in the future.

Map theme(??)

This song was really fun to make! This is one of my much more recent songs, at least more so than any of my other songs I've uploaded here, and I'd say it's one of my personal best so far (aside from MAYBE one other song that I just made, which isn't even finished yet). This one is unfinished... maybe?? It sounds fine the way it is but I might still need to spruce it up a bit, so expect a revised version at some point... maybe.

Either way, I guess one notable thing about this song is that it makes pretty heavy use of stereo sound, at least compared to any of my other tunes I've made before. I really wanted this one to be way deeper and more compositionally complex than any of my other songs I've put together in the past, so I made sure to put in a bunch of unique instruments (most notably the rhythmic guitar strumming and electric guitar- both of which aren't necessarily unique but are ones that I don't tend to use often as they sort of stretch outside of my comfort zone to an extent), and balance all of them between the two earsides to make it more interesting to listen to. That being said, that unfortunately makes it kinda hard for anybody with only one headphone, so to all teenagers listening to this who have headphones which are broken in one ear... I deeply apologize. :(

The piano part here was especially fun to make- i first came up with this on my actual keyboard, which is why it's so much more involved than the piano in any of my other pieces. Of course, this song is WAY too friggin' fast for me to actually play on a piano, which is why I decided to flesh it out in GarageBand. It was really fun to go all out here, especially with the "solo" at the end of the song.

Well, hope you all who are listening enjoy this one- I'm always open to feedback, whatever kind it may be, so please feel free to leave it in the comments! High school is quite hectic atm, so SoundCloud is virtually the very last thing on my mind, but I thought I'd go ahead and upload something I've been working on just for the hell of it. Maybe expect some more stuff soon, but don't count on it because I'm incredibly preoccupied with the teenage life.

Here's a neat track I made throughout today using the sound font for Spyro the Dragon! I've always wanted to make a song in the style of Stewart Copeland's excellent compositions from Spyro, and today while I was screwing around in Logic Pro I happened upon this soundfont which I must've downloaded a while back So, across the accumulative course of what must've been at least 10 hours, I made this. It's definitely nowhere near as complex as any of Copeland's tracks, and I'll probably even keep working on it to make it better and longer, but I think I did an alright job considering that I made this in a single day. Let me know what you think in the comments, as I'm eager to hear any suggestions as to how I could further improve this.
