I was a nurse for a number of years and witnessed the impact of Alzheimer’s on partners and families and thought I would try writing a song about it.
Apology for such a sad subject to write a song about but it may resonate with people.
Also I have sung the second verse in French, for my French listeners, so apologies if it sounds wrong to French listeners.

Hi!
I am experimenting with shorter ambient pieces at the moment. It is kinda strange to use so few ideas and sounds in a song, but these kind of challenges are pushing you to new territories you might never see otherwise. 

Expect to see a bunch of new music in this style so i can give you a whole list of music to sleep / chill / study to. : )

Vanishing Waves

A boss is a person who exercises control or authority
But I don’t see how any of that applies to me

Cashiers who call me boss when I’m standing in the checkout line
I’m just an ordinary guy, I put my pants on one leg at a time

Maybe when they call me boss it’s a sign of respect
Or maybe they think it’s a really nice way to connect
But the way I see it calling someone boss is like calling somebody captain, sport or chief
If they could just call me sir, mister or Joe that would be a real relief

I’m not your boss, and when you call me boss, I’m not sure how to reply

When you call me boss, I can’t help but think that you’re mocking me
If you think I am the boss, then maybe I should get my groceries for free

When I recently heard this song by  Margareta Theorin (Margareta & Eddy)  https://soundcloud.com/user-594915176 it really touched me so I reached out  and asked her if it would be okay for me to attempt  to create my own version of her song - and thankfully she said yes.
