The second single taken from the new album - Hope in a Jar (Nov 21)

Paralyse Me Where I Stand is released on all platforms on 12.8.21.

I wrote, recorded and produced this track over the last 18 months after enrolling on a home recording course by Isobel Anderson.  I had lost touch with home recording to a certain degree having learned her craft on an old Atari computer and Cubase hard disks. I have been blown away with how far music tech as developed since those days and have loved using the studio as in instrument to create my own sound rather than relying on sound engineers to know what you want to create.

This track was mastered by Chris Pavey Mastering.

The song is about overwhelm and anxiety, how it feels to have ADHD - everyone has their own struggles and knowledge is power...........not knowing you are neuro-divergent for your entire life has come with its challenges.....they can be overcome and music has been an important part of that for me.

Following a long and wonderful career at the BBC we spoke to Katy Searle.  At the time we talked, to Katy was the Senior Controller BBC News but has since moved to become a partner of Comms and Political engagement organisation Fourtold.  

Quoting the BBC as a wonderful place to work, we are delighted to introduce a woman who has achieved so much in her career.  Katy also admits she is a risk taker….
