Here'z a dope mix by DJ Wizard aka Jeff Mills live on WJLB, Detroit. This mix reminds me so much of DJ Cochis Collier on The Club Style Show on WDMT with Dean Rufus in Cleveland.
Crazy thing is that I just had a conversation with my homie DJ Joey Gonzalez of Moving Disco Productions out of South Lorain (Cleveland) where I grew up. 
We were on the phone reminiscing about the radio show'z & DJ'z that inspired us back in the dayz. Before I moved to Florida back in 1984, Cleveland's legendary Station WDMT 108 FM changed it's 4mat.
Now WDMT was very similar to this WJLB in Detroit & Chicago's WBMX.  I asked my homie who he listed to after & he said WJLB with DJ Wizard, Derrick May & The Electrifying Mojo. I keep 4getting Detroit was only 2 hours away from Lorain. I grew up listening to CKLW on the AM dial. They played everything from Rock 2 Motown Soul. That's why I believe I DJ like I do. No segregation in the music I played. My ears were trained from a young age.
Anyhow, we'll get back to that... for now it'z all about DJ Wizard & Detroit Style mixing.
Big up'z 2 my homie Chris Low from Edinburgh, Scotland, UK who hooked me up with this tape back in 1994. BTW, Chris Low became a UK resident on our 91.5 FM WPRK Radio Show in Orlando, Florida back in the 90'z. Okay ok, let'z cut chatter & get to the matter...

I am trying to make people more aware of the power of music, especially the kind that makes you move. Maybe some can take that experience on the dancefloor to see that we can work together as a race, if we just drop our differing ideas for a moment to see what is really there. Music is one of the best ways to do this to the human mind.

Selekta Chang’s roots lie in his Cuban family being exposed at an early age to his parents collection of disco, soul, rock, salsa, and funk records. His first musical instrument was the drums where he performed percussion in a symphonic classical band while in Jr. High. This eventually led to his interest in djing while one day watching “The Buffalo Gals” music video on MTV. It was the scratching sound he heard that lead to his curiosity on what it meant to mix records. Around that time in Miami his cousin was a disco dj, and it was his music that motivated Chang even more to pursue the art of the mixtape.

What Chang is best known for though is his residency at Simons! There he played with djs like Laurent Garnier, Felix Da Housecat, Deep Dish, Green Velvet, Richie Hawtin, John Aquaviva, Rabbit In The Moon, Hardkiss, Carl Cox, Josh Wink, King Britt, SF Wicked, Kimball Collins, D-Xtreme, dj Three, Monk, Jask, Mark Farina, John Digweed, Danny Tenaglia, DJ Pierre, Dubtribe, Doc Martin and much, much, more.  

Never constituting to one sound expect elements of disco, soul, afro-funk, electro, breaks, house, techno, trance, hip hop, to indie rock in his sets. Expressing such diverse sounds that it excites & entices his fans with the unknown & unexpected.

His dj travels have surpassed the borders of the USA to Formula One in Bahrain, FM4 Radio in Vienna, Beach Party in Beirut, SQ Club & Piekarnia in Poland, Treasure Beach Jamaica, Download Festival in Slovakia, to the legendary Cocoon Club in Frankfurt, Germany. 

Charity is where his heart is like his involvement with Project Ahimsa, a charity that spreads musical instruments to underprivileged youth around the globe. He was 2011-2013's Mr. X for The Red Bull Music Academy in West Florida, and a co-founder of the Street Music Workshop at The Moses House in Sulphur Springs, Fl. from 2008 till 2010.
