The French producer Jack Essek displays in his brand new release, four splendid original tracks: ‘Mahogany’, ‘Allahu Allah’, ‘Hindustan’, and ‘Esengo’, which are accompanied by four brilliant remixes. Jack Essek’s original tracks manage to take the listeners into a deep colourful psychedelic journey that crosses the vast middle eastern lands and reaches the most mystical parts of India. An extremely diverse exhibition of ancient traditions blended with an exquisite palette of powerful futuristic electronic sounds and psychedelic rhythms, enveloped by delicious bass lines and hypnotizing vocals. Prepare yourselves to get drifted into a magical adventure full of light & darkness, pleasurable melancholia & heart-warming sounds, drama, romance and much more. These four originals will penetrate the deepest spots of your soul and will make your whole body move to its fascinating sounds. On remix duty, we have the pleasure to have Seel and Alt Control back on our label and to welcome to the Camel Riders family the Madrid-based producer and the London-based producer, Nebu Mitte and Commoner. 1st we are serving you Seel’s glorious darkish remix for the EP theme track ‘Mahogany’, which transformed the original’s groovy nomadic atmosphere into a dramatic and psychedelic tale. 2nd we have Alt Control with his brilliant clubby interpretation for ‘Allahu Allah’, which crafted an exquisite fusion of progressive techno and Indie Dance sounds, giving the original’s rootful psychedelic vibe, a more colourful and powerful atmosphere. Coming up next, we have Nebu Mitte’s eclectic remix for ‘Hindustan’, converting the original’s rounded groovy vibe into a spiky and very mysterious adventure full of mighty exquisite electronic sounds. Last but not least we are serving you Commoners enchanting remix for ‘Esengo’, which takes the original’s deep obscure and psychedelic melodies into a sunny and very colourful island of exotic rhythms with pleasurable percussions, dreamy melodies & vocal fragments, all caressed with refreshing windy electronic sounds.

Rising UK-talent Guy Mac makes a much-anticipated debut on Hot Creations in January with the Sonic Boom EP. Made up of three original tracks, the release acts as both Guy’s and the label’s inaugural release of 2022.

Guy discussed how the EP came to fruition, stating: “Sonic Boom was the result of a late-night studio session in lockdown 2020, experimenting with different sounds. The inspiration was to create something with the euphoric energy we were missing out on, given that clubs were shut at the time. Massive thanks to Jamie Jones, Lee Foss, and everyone at the label for the opportunity.”

The title track kicks off proceedings in an outright party fashion, as rampant kicks lay beneath up-tempo hats to set the tone. Reverberating vocals bounce alongside driving synth lines, before we’re soon graced with the stripped-back sounds of Waku Waku. Tribal-laced percussion opens into pulsing, space-like samples, whilst the enthralling chant of “waku waku” shimmers softly throughout. Rounding off the EP is Don’t Stop, another no-nonsense, late-night cut packed full of 4x4 drum patterns that perfectly encapsulates Guy’s hard-hitting, club-ready sound.

An artist making continuous strides in the house and techno space, London-based DJ and producer Guy Mac is an exponential contender for most, if not all, ‘ones to watch in 2022’ shortlists. His work has found a home on some of the industry’s best-known labels such as Sola Nauts, Under No Illusion, Armada Subjekt, Glasgow Underground, SK Recordings and more. Outside of the studio, Guy has also made a significant impact on his clubland presence, with bookings at Ministry of Sound, Egg London, ADE and Miami Music Week parties representing a handful of his most notable highlights.

A meeting of the minds between two Israeli DJs and producers. 

Adam Ten & Mita Gami release a combined two-tracker in September on Crosstown Rebels, dipping into dark and hypnotising waters while maintaining a club-cut aesthetic.

Elaborating on the release, the duo explain the process behind it. "These two tracks are special for us. Both were just great ideas that we were stuck on and didn't finish, so we left them for a while and then came back with a fresh view," they admit. "First, there was 'Night Shift,' a melodic track that fits perfectly when we want to hypnotize the dancefloor and bring them together. Then there was 'High On,' which is a peak time track for when we wanna go harder and deeper." The pair pen a slow-burning chugger on the title track, merging tones of tech house, progressive house and techno. A high-pitched vocal weaves throughout, in tandem with a distorted synthline and oddball sound FX—one for a wavey dancefloor. On the flip, Night Shift glistens with emotion as tribal-tinged percussion collides with long, drawn-out piano notes. A cosmic creation that blurs the line between melancholia and warmth.

Adam Ten is a Tel Aviv-born producer and resident DJ of institutional club The Block, located in his home city. Ten is a key artist on the Israeli scene, recognised for his all-night sets that blend a myriad of moods in electronic music. He’s played worldwide, spanning stints in Miami, Cape Town and Mykonos, amongst several other regions, and he’s channelled his compelling sound on labels like Diynamic, Multinotes, Disco Halal and Selador. As a co-founder of the event series TERRA, Ten curates some of the finest nature-orientated parties in Israel. Mita Gami hails from Tel Aviv. A multi-instrumentalist from a young age, he goes beyond the trope of entertainer. Instead, Gami invites his audience into immersive and almost trippy journeys during his performances via a hybrid set-up and enticing energy on-stage. Releases on REALM Records and Diynamic display his metaphysical approach. Beyond producing, Gami co-runs the label Blue Shadow Records and the Sunrise Kingdom area in Midburn Festival, based in the Negev Desert in Israel.

A modern nomad who has travelled the continents with his music, Nu is as diverse in his musical styles as he is well-travelled.

Taking influences from his various homes, such as Switzerland, Germany, or Peru, the producer and trained sound engineer branched out into various genres (deep house, hip hop, trip-hop, ambient, experimental, dance, and even film and dance theatre music composition). Through this years-long musical journey, Nu then found his true calling: instrumentals amalgamated with his electronic production, all held together through solid rhythms.

Nuʼs music has a strong emphasis on live performance. He fuses clean-cut minimal techno with the raw sounds of his analogue synthesis and his self-made instruments. He works with anything from self-recorded samples over drum and synthesizer machines to multi-touch screen controllers.
