Organized by Echoes of Seoul @echoesofseoul , ‘The Awakening’ is a series of events that will promote local DJs in Seoul. Volume 1 will feature 5 techno DJs: Syffre, Song Vera, Chukimaandal, Ana Kim, and Soyo.

Techno is a genre that encompasses a wide-ranging set of emotions from the calm and meditative to the raw and primal. It's a genre that thrives when you let it take over the mechanical nature of the body.

The concept of 'The Awakening' is about celebrating some of the unique attributes of Techno as a way of metamorphosis. The exploration of who you are as a person, of being awakened to life, the understanding of the human condition, to the search for your true self.

‘The Awakening’ 은 Echoes of Seoul이 만든 로컬 DJ들을 소개하는 공연이다. Volume 1 은 Syffre, Song Vera, Chukimaandal, Ana Kim, and Soyo 이 5명의 테크노 DJ들과 함께한다.

테크노는 차분하고 명상적인 부분부터 원초적인 부분에 이르기까지 폭넓은 감정을 아우르는 장르이다. 몸을 자연스럽게 그대로 맡길때 더 제대로 느낄 수 있다. 
‘The Awakening’ 의 주제는 테크노음악이 다양한 유니크한 형태로 변함에 있어서 '깨어남'이야기한다. 당신이 사람으로서 어떤 사람인지, 인생에있어서의 깨달음, 인간의 대한 이해, 그리고 당신 자신에 대한 진실된 고찰.

Martina Detjen erzeugt mit ihrer Stimme und diversen Instrumenten oder Objekten sphärische meditative, ggf. rhythmische Klangteppiche. Diese werden in ihrem Wohnzimmer-Musikstudio improvisiert und aufgezeichnet.
GO ON wurde mit Synthesizer, Stimme, einem Gummiband-Spezialeffekt und mit einem Looper kreiert.

Sci-Fi Sequence

Undo Influence is the latest release by Marshfield, Wisconsin-based musician and producer Ryan Summers. Written over a period of years, this album captures his experiences deprogramming from an internet cult over a decade ago. Stylistically, it spans from progressive electronic to caustic industrial, and introduces elements of chamber pop throughout. It blends the pop instincts developed through his Midwest Soul Xchange project along with the sound design work found in his solo ambient releases adding a bit of an edge.
