This is an "improved" version of a recording I made in '95 or '96. Which means this track has been with me half my life so far. Schöneberg is a district in my hometown of Berlin (also the title of great and well-known techno track). It's where I spent a lot of my childhood, where I fell deeply in love for the 1st time, where I first kissed a girl and bought my 1st synthesizer. It's where I still live. This track's supposed to be a postivie, uplifitng instrumental hymn about life. Judge for yourself. This version features 909 kick drum.

Deeper, You & I

“Trudge” alludes to the weird disconnected-yet-superconnected reality that envelopes us all day, every day. We wade through a mire of strangely polished ‘normal’ on every social medium we consume, and then can’t work out why we feel so substandard all the time. We voraciously seek the positive feedback that is designed to suck us in and keep us coming back for more. We scroll, and scroll, and scroll, and scroll. What will it take for us to stop and look up? Or will we all slowly fall into the void?
