Her innovative approach to music and art has continually challenged norms, making her one of the most exciting artists to emerge from London’s vibrant underground scene in the last decade.In 2020, Astrid further expanded her creative influence by founding Heady Records. We wanted to celebrate the music of integral Samurai family member Last Life by revisiting his Samurai contributions with remixes from artists Mauro saw as best candidates for adding a new perception.

The first in this 2 part series enlists two fellow Samurai Music family members and titans of the Techno / wider electronic musical sphere - Donato Dozzy & Reeko.

Donato flips Hidden into a driving 4/4 170 terse wind out, while Reeko rebuilds Tensor into a serpent-like groove around a thunderous kick.

Jonas Rönnberg, also known as Varg2™ is a Swedish electronic musician, producer, and artist. Rönnberg is the owner/co-owner and operator of two independent record labels based in Stockholm: Northern Electronics, which Rönnberg runs together with fellow Swedish producer Anthony Linell (formerly known as Abdulla Rashim) and focuses on traditional and experimental techno, and Cease 2 Exist (C2E), which is primarily known for its experimental EDM and is often associated with collaborations with members of Drain Gang such as Bladee and Ecco2k.
