This is a track that I composed/produced/performed to demonstrate a sample instrument/pack that I made for Pianobook, which consists of a bowed rosewood marimba and several FX, including pitch-shifting. I also performed live double bass on the track and used the brand new Glass Piano by Spitfire Audio (LABS series), which sounds incredible! The loss of a beloved pet is very traumatic. My friends Robert and Jane lost their bulldog Livy to lymphoma recently. This composition is dedicated to them, and of course, Livy. The photo in the art work is by Robert Holmes.
