“Music is the soundtrack of life,” explains Scott A. Lindsey, better known in Hip Hop circles as PRIME. It is his philosophy which has made PRIME the most anticipated Hip Hop producer to come out of the Midwest, and his approach to track making ensures that he will be a formidable influence in rap music for years to come. 

PRIME began his love for music at birth, enamored with Jazz, Gospel, Soul, and even Rock & Roll. With a good ear for music and no formal training, PRIME found himself intrigued by the creativity of those “behind” the music: the producer. A self-study of favorite producers from the likes of Quincy Jones and Creed Taylor intensified his love of music, and expanded his collection of records at a very young age. 

During the birth and growth of Hip Hop, PRIME was fascinated with those behind the music, the guys with all the turntables and the records who made the MC’s sound good: The DJ. Imitating the likes of Grandmaster Flash as well as local Columbus DJ’s, PRIME developed his own style of play which would later gain him recognition throughout high school and college. At Bowling Green State University, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Interpersonal Communication from his football scholarship, PRIME was the top DJ on campus. This standing inspired him to take his talents to the airwaves, where he was not only a radio personality, but also the Urban Music Director at WBGU 88.1. PRIME decided to hone his skills and focus his talents on pursuing his greatest dream: becoming a hit Hip Hop producer. 

Using his dorm room as a primary location, Studio B-237 (his actual room number) was launched. In that one room, he co-founded his first rap group, Black Minds of Music, which eventually recorded more than 70 songs, performing in local shows and shined as opening acts for X-Clan and Minister Louis Farrakhan over the course of his college career. 

PRIME continued to produce Hip Hop tracks after college, working with local artists in his hometown of Columbus, Ohio. He contributed to the fast-selling Columbus Mob album “MIDWEST FUNK SOUNDTRACK”. PRIME produced Jakk-N-Jill’s “The Chronic” and assisted production on Insane’s “Tahitian Treat” and AKA & Eddie B’s “The Outro”. Tai-Pan, PRIME’s friend from college, was next to be blessed with the skills of PRIME on his first full-length album entitled “THE RISE, THE FALL, THE RISE” on Educated Records, exclusively produced by PRIME which sprung the single of the same title featuring Terri Whitlow formerly of Teen Dream. The summer of 1996, PRIME released his debut solo effort, “BUSTOWN FLAV”, a cassette EP which became the hottest collection of independently produced songs everywhere on the Columbus streets. The hit single “Bustown Flav”, the personal confession of “Ax Anybody…” and “Dis Style (featuring Ci-Dubble and Taleeb)” are among the EP’s brightest moments. Because of it’s success, PRIME was rewarded with opening show dates with Redman, Jamal & Keith Murray; all of the respected Def Squad. Spring of 1997, Columbus witnessed the exclusively produced Taleeb “TALEEB: VERBAL TACTICS”, which featured the hit singles such as “I Smell A Blunt” and “Verbal Tactics”. But with the radio success of “The Circumstances”, PRIME has been the most sought after producer in the city. 

Since then, PRIME has released two stellar CD's THE BIRTH OF MR. JOSHUA: the breakneck pace experience and his self title CD THE TALENTED MR. LINDSEY. Besides his own work of music, PRIME has completed two classic albums for EKLYPZ PERIOD..."E=MC2" and "IT'S A PLEASURE 4U2 MEET ME"; two hot EP's for SILAS..."Unlucky 7 Vol. 1" and "Unlucky 7 Vol. 2: Private Thoughts Gone Public" which both have been recently re-released as a single packaged CD now titled "THE SAUCE". PRIME has also worked and put together a very hot and marketable CD for female sensation MECHIE whose mix of hip hop and R&B are currently making her debut "Reality Check" a hot street commodity. Born Jared Dalton, J.D. is a 27 year old hip hop artist/model/actor born and raised Nashville, TN. J.D. first began recording music using his desktop computer's built in microphone and Cool Edit Pro 2.0. Recording songs with friends and family through high school & college he grew to love the art of making music. So, J.D. decided to officially launch his music career in 2010 with the release of his album "It Ain't Easy" & the creation of www.jdmusic615.com Selling 500+ copies locally with hand to hand sales while promoting this newly created website for his music. In an effort to gain attention J.D. then performed at various venues throughout Nashville including The Muse, Undertones, Sport's Page, Jazz & Jokes, along with performing at a few other events such as Sound Therapy's Art Aesthetics Fashion Show where He modeled for local clothing lines as well. After releasing "More Music Vol. 1" & "The Evolution of JD: Love & Swag" in 2011 coupled with successful Facebook & Twitter marketing, J.D. was able to catapult his efforts into a spotlight seen clearly on his website, which was garnishing views from an audience all over the world.

Later that year in 2011 J.D. received a DM on twitter from Danny Maiden aka D-Boy, a producer from Perth, Australia who was looking to shop his beats and network into the music business. After messaging for a few weeks the two made their first track, "My Beatbox" which appeared on "The Evolution of JD: Love & Swag". So after this first successful collaboration, Danny decided to link J.D. with Gianmarco De Poloni aka Co-Sign, an amazing singer from Perth, Australia as well. The two immediately showcased their chemistry making "Shades of Grey", a smash hit that debuted at #2 on Australia's Triple J radio charts. As these three continued to work together they decided to form a group called "Flight School" after adding another member DJ Mulli, a rapper/DJ from Australia. After the creation of this new super group J.D. decided it was time to take a risk...

In Late 2011, J.D. decided to quit his day job, took out his retirement savings, and traveled overseas on his first ever plane flight to Australia with only a one-way ticket in hand. This was the craziest yet best thing he could have ever done with his life. During a layover in Hong Kong J.D. decided to start his journey hitting the streets alone and promoting his latest project. Loving the novelty of being away he showed no fear as he wandered aimlessly with only his dream in hand. Later after arriving to Australia, he met D-Boy & Co-Sign for the first time face to face and immediately had brothers for life. The wonderful experience of travel and working with world class artists made this the best year and a half of his life. Meeting friends from all over the world over the course of his time away and travelling to 8 other countries was quite the life experience for this young artist. He promoted his music in Hong Kong, Australia, Indonesia, Thailand, England, Holland & Ireland making him known by random encounters with residents and other tourists. J.D. made it back to the states late 2012, and was looking to return to his music and pursuit of his ultimate goal. So he decided to drop a mixtape detailing his travels, "The Evolution of JD: Travel Life". This tape has already garnished international support and listeners from all walks of life. For Berkeley-born & raised Blakely, The Bottle Kids represent both a departure and a return to his roots. Blakely cut his musical teeth in the heart of the emerging Bay Area power pop/new wave scene of late 70’s/early 80’s, recording his first album (1983/Eric Blakely and The Blame) with the late Dave Carpenter of The Greg Kihn Band as producer. He quickly gained an enviable musical pedigree in the genre, performing domestically and abroad with artists such as The Plimsouls, The Rubinoos, Dwight Twilley, Pearl Harbor and the Explosions, Greg Kihn, SVT, Chuck Prophet, Paul Collins' Beat, Wire Train, Bobby Keys, Powell St. John and Stu Cook of Creedence Clearwater revival.
Wanderlust and touring spirited Blakely to LA then Paris and finally Austin, TX in 1989, where he made an equally impressive name for himself as a country/Americana singer/songwriter. The Houston Post was not alone in its praise for his debut CD Uncle John’s Farm, calling Blakely "one of the most promising young Austin songwriters." In Austin, Blakely spent two decades honing his craft as a songwriter and performer, recording/producing five albums to critical acclaim, starting his own recording studio (Folk Reel Productions) and touring throughout the United States and Europe with what England's Bucket Full of Brains called his "bright, witty and erudite country-pop songs."
In 2010, Blakely joined with Paul Collins to play lead guitar on his "King Of Power Pop" album, sewing the seed of what he calls “a menacing power pop itch.” It was this itch that returned Blakely back to his roots in Berkeley, where he relocated himself and his studio, and set to work on The Bottle Kids debut, like a power pop prodigal son. Biography 


Amanda Shaw is a singer-songwriter who simply compels you to listen. With her evocative, distinct voice as described by one reviewer, her accomplished vocals will ‘mesmorise’ you. Throughout her childhood and teens Amanda performed in many shows and musicals. Having written songs since the age of 13, her vocal and song-writing style has been shaped from her earliest to present day musical influences, some of her main influences include Tori Amos, Lucie Silvas, Delta Goodrem, Celine Dion, Trisha Yearwood, Faith Hill, Mariah Carey, and all styles of music from across a broad range of genres.

She has been working with Deuce Management and Promotions as a featured artist and is currently attaining worldwide airplay through radio. Last year she won a competition through this company based on her vocal style and song-writing to produce a single with T2 Productions who work with major label artists based in Hong Kong, being the first UK artist they have worked with, and the track was mastered by Earle Holder who mastered for Public Enemy. 

Throughout the last few years she has worked with producers on creating a catalogue of songs, and is now working with MJS Music on producing her first album. Her songs are all available for use under licence by bands/ singers/ TV/ Film and other commercial uses. 

This year Amanda is completing an album with MJS Music with the aim being on producing an industry ready product. This will entail a re-working of some ideas that sparked her passion for writing music from the beginning. The overall aim of the project is to create music that has influences from film music, atmospheric ethereal, with a commercial edge and folk vibe.' Instrumentation will include flute, piano, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, string arrangements, drums, and effects used in a way that compliments the arrangement and overall theme of each song, portraying the expression of ideas and bringing about something unique that people can relate to, and feel inspired by.

DJ DannyBoi Sets His Party Standards High While Maintaining His Unwavering Mission to Achieve Celebrity DJ Status… 

A deep desire and a drive for the ultimate success in his industry is the course that our feature DJ has set for himself. We haven't encountered too many DJ's with such a strong vision and determination for such high personal achievement. DJ DannyBoi has set the bar of success extremely high and he is not allowing anything to stop him from achieving his goals. From his early beginnings with music at the age of 13, this artist has been interacting extensively with the medium as a means of self-expression and internal development. Music has been an integral part of defining who this individual is and it has helped him to set the creative path of life that he has journeyed on for almost twenty years. 

DJ DannyBoi possesses a rich perspective of the music industry as a result of his early career choices. He has also wisely rounded-out his resume of experience through involving himself in the many facets of the DJ profession. DJ DannyBoi has put in his time through his humble beginnings as a DJ spinning for family, friends, parties, schools, events etc. From this point he expanded his repertoire as industry folk started to sit up and take note of his exceptional abilities and sense of rhythm behind the turntable.

Danny's immersion in mainstream music moved him to become increasingly more involved in the radio aspect of the business. "He was an avid listener to the mix shows on Power 106, and 106.7 kroq. This is when he realized that he wanted to learn the techniques of blending and mixing music. He worked for KCMU 90.3 fm Seattle Wa from 2000 to 2003. In 2003, he was chosen to compete in the KCMU 90.3 DJ battle hosted By ButterBeat records. In 2004, he landed the job as the DJ for all of Puma Athletic wear corporate function and in house sales.

In addition to his extensive marketing and exposure via the radio community, business-minded Danny also launched a mobile disc jockey service under the name of Amplified Entertainment in 1999 (Seattle Wa). Never stopping to pause for long in his career development, this artist has stayed on the course of his dreams and has continued to tackle new projects that would further his professional image and promote his name as a world-class turntablist.

So far in his career, he has produced many CD’s and demos since 1998 as well as he has released two professional mainstream CD’s called, “Get yo Funk on (Club Edition)” and "Full Moon Sessions". Danny thrives on producing extremely high quality at all times and he is a very serious and dedicated artist when it comes to his work. That isn't to say that he lacks a sense of humor though! Danny has an uncanny sense of appropriate timing in all aspects of his life.

DJ DannyBoi's vast knowledge of the industry has left him with a true sense of what makes an effective club and party atmosphere. He knows exactly how to create an unbelievable vibe, to the point of it almost being a science for him. In order to feel successful, it's imperative to this artist that his audience is riding the musical high of his turntable antics and he will settle for nothing less than pure party madness when he takes over the decks. It's all or nothing...there is no grey area for Danny. 

The Buzz has had several opportunities to experience DJ DannyBoi live at Cabana Palms Ultra lounge in California (one of many clubs on his resume) and he always puts down the hottest tracks on the charts! Using his exceptional mixing talents, Danny consistently keeps the dance floor filled to overflowing with party-jacked patrons. Everyone seems to adore his broad spectrum of genres used within his sets. He likes to use an "AM-esque" style of slammin' down the mixes. Danny embraces a great deal of expertise when it comes to mixing any genre of music.

This DJ has a really well-developed sense of his crowd and he follows their reactions and chemistry closely during his gigs. Although he does have planned sets, he is experienced enough now to allow his creativity to flow and to feed the club-goers based on their hunger level! Once he has a handle on their collective musical preferences, he seems to jack up the vibe with a flurry of mainstream smash hits mixed with retro and alternative tracks to appease the more musically savvy on the dance floor. DJ DannyBoi is a complete professional while holding down the helm in the DJ Booth (quite frequently he uses his own free-standing, portable Odyssey deck) and again he thrives upon the challenge of keeping the club patrons thirsting for more hot tracks, while also refilling their beverages at the bar due to continuous dancing!

It's probably safe to claim that everyone has dreams, but DJ DannyBoi is dreaming in 3D IMAX!! He is on a mission to achieve celebrity status as a DJ with goals as grandiose as participating in films or on TV, working with A-listers, and dropping sets for massive volumes of peeps in global venues. It's an amazing but completely achievable task that Danny has set for himself. In looking at his history, in combination with his intense level of dedication, DJ DannyBoi's determination is definitely a characteristic that is to be admired and an asset to his name. More bad apples in the crew than cheap cider;

Battling me? 
That'd be 
an embarrassing mistake,
Like promoters 
who don't get the "H" in the right place;

But drift on a high

Exchange words

throwing up letters on the ghost train;

Hunched up, 
punching keys

Holding my rifles to false idols
I love the crackle on the old vinyl, 
I rock break loops,
And make moves from my HQ
I stay true to the ancient ways

MARCO MIDDLESEX BIO BY LANCE GAYHART OF "THE SPIRIT OF THE CIRCUIT" www.thespiritofthecircuit.com
Born into a Navy family, Marco Middlesex’s earliest years were spent in Atco, New Jersey. When Marco was two years old, his father received orders that he would be stationed overseas in Europe. What was supposed to be just a four-year tour of duty expanded into sixteen years, with Marco experiencing an extraordinary cultured life and education in England, Scotland and Ireland.

While attending school in Europe, Marco excelled in the arts. After years of working and living in Philadelphia, Marco moved to San Francisco with his then partner Steve in 1994. They lived in the Western Addition. Both created a home and lived happily together for several years until Steve died. After the death, Marco poured his energy and emotions into his other great love: entertaining people. Marco explains, “I live for, and I love to, sing, dance and perform, and to promote and express feelings of affection, hope and fun for everyone who will share and listen.”

In 2010, Marcos’ career began to take an upward swing. He found himself performing for many charitable fundraisers throughout San Francisco. These performances caught the attention of P.A. Cooley, who was casting for a new short-run musical called “Bearlesque.” Marco subsequently was featured in the musical.

In 2011, Marco founded a production company, MXM Artisan Agency. With the company, Marco pays it forward to his fellow artist and entertainment groups. He says, “I am a stoic believer in the universe’s ultimate justice, Karma. I always endeavor to put out good and positive energy into the universe and to treat others with respect and courtesy; everyone deserves this.”

Marco has recorded several original songs, including: “Free Yourself to Love,” produced by Leo Frappier of Hit Save Music, and featuring Raquela and Xavier Toscano: “In Deep and Dance” (Independence), also produced by Leo Frappier and Hit Save Music. Another Marco Middlesex tune, “All that I Am,” was released in October 2013. 

Marco has recorded two cover tunes that charted well on the Reverbnation dance charts, “Frozen”, by Madonna and “Touch Me”, by Ryan Tedder and Bonnie McKee. In 2014, he reproduced Tina Cousins’ smash dance single “Mysterious Times”.  He has performed at various venues in the Bay Area & at SF, Reno & Catro Valley Pride events.

When it was decided that The Spirit of the Circuit™ website would come to fruition, LGP, LLC. asked Marco if he would re-release his progressively fun track, “Sexation”, with Drag Performer, Sheena Rose; also produced by Leo Frappier. We are thrilled that he obliged, and are extremely happy to feature Marco on The Spirit of the Circuit™ website.
