No Storms on Mercury

Mister Red is the stage name of Shane from Ireland. He found his passion for making music over a decade ago. He has spent the last 20 years living and working all over the world, as a human rights worker and creative thinker. And started experimenting with sounds from genres ranging from downtempo to progressive house and psy-ambient. And then discovered the Ecstatic Dance scene on Koh Phangan, Thailand in 2016. Most of his Ecstatic Dance sets can be found on the Mixcloud link below. He has played in Europe, Asia and Africa. 

In the second half of 2019, while experimenting with new sounds, using Ableton, he found a way to express his feelings through the electronic progressive and downtempo side of music, resonating with many kinds of genres, while deeply influenced by ecstatic dance and its multiple layers of borderless music and sound journeys. 

Mister Red released his first progressive house track (Forbidden Fruit) on the Uwazi Beats label, which he created in East Africa in September 2019. His track, Belisama was released on the Cafe de Anatolia label on 25.12.19. And his debut album - Dune Shadows (a four track EP)- was released under the Cafe de Anatolia label in April, 2020.  His second EP (Melodic House & Techno) was released in April  2021 - No Storms on Mercury EP. 

His new track Lionsgate is released in September 2022. 

He continues to create music that can hopefully infuse good vibrations in others.
