Eric Allen, originally from Indiana in the US Midwest and having performed and lived in New York City for over a decade, is a singer/songwriter and guitarist known for his authentic and soulful Americana, blues, country, and outlaw sound. Eric's original compositions include 40 Years, Workin' on the Blues, All on Death Row, Fire in the Canyon, Ball in the Street, Terrebonne, and Holy Rollin’, among many others.
 
Eric will release his 2nd studio album, Prowlin' Lobo Blues, in December 2022 on all streaming platforms. Using primarily acoustic instruments, Prowlin' Lobo Blues explores life on the rails and road in the mid-19th century, during the Great Depression, and today. Eric’s self-titled debut album, Eric Allen, released in January 2021 on all streaming platforms and was recorded as an entirely acoustic undertaking. Its songs convey stories of life on the road, hope, and longing in Eric’s down-to-earth, world-weary style.
 
Eric Allen performs as a solo act using his folksy, Texas-influenced fingerpicking style. Eric also combines a rocky style with authentic Chicago, Texas, & Mississippi Delta blues as lead singer and rhythm guitarist for the Eric Allen Woodshed band and Howlin’ Rotten Blues duo. Eric has been featured on tours and at international music festivals throughout China, including the October 2021 Chevrolet World Music Asia Festival in Shanghai and Wuhan, summer 2021 Howlin' Rotten Blues Tour in Sichuan and Yunnan provinces, and summer 2019 Eric Allen Blues Tour in Shandong and Hebei provinces.
