For several months I've been preparing a medley/djset retracing the career of our favorite helmeted duo.  I've come to share with you a project that's close to my heart. 

There are bands that mark an entire generation. Daft Punk are one of them. 
I remember listening to the Discovery cassette over and over again, and having to rewind it. 
I remember Human After All, which I bought with pocket money. 
I remember the upheaval of Tron Legacy in its mix of orchestral and electronic music. 
I remember Random Access Memories, which seemed to open up a new landscape of possibility. It's for all these reasons that I wanted to share with you this Medley accompanied by visuals that I've meticulously prepared for you today.

Willkommen zum Neon Paradise Radio, Folge 41!

Zu Gast ist der Kölner DJ Klimt Eastwood. Hier erzählt er über seinen Werdegang als DJ, wie damals in der Provinz alles angefangen hat, sich sein Sound gewandelt hat und wo er heute steht. Nämlich jeden Monat im Kölner "Königsblut", dem Laden, in dem er sich hinter den Decks verwirklicht. Angefangen bei House und Tech House, lässt er heute auch gerne mal den ein oder anderen Italo Disco Track einfließen, begeistert sich immer mehr für diesen synthetischen Sound der 80er. Dazu gibt es mehrere neue Tracks zu entdecken und Klimt beschert uns ein 45min Set. Wunderbar!

Sometimes the best ideas come straight from the community. One of my subscribers suggested blending two iconic tracks from the French Touch universe “We Are Your Friends” and “Together” by Justice, Thomas Bangalter, DJ Falcon and Madeon. This project is a tribute to the sound that defined a generation and continues to inspire dancefloors around the world.
