Ten Seconds, Solo, Guitar Craft, Peter Banks, Lives of the Saints, Bronze Pyramid, on and on...

Hi, I’m Harrison. I live in Highland Park, Los Angeles in a 3 bedroom apartment with a roommate. The 3rd bedroom is my studio. This is what it looks like.

Above my computer and to the left a little bit, is a plaque with my grandfather’s name on it. It reads, “Presented to Nat Kipner to recognize the sale, in the United Kingdom, of more than 250,000 copies of the CBS Single Playing Record ‘Too Much, Too Little, Too Late’ 1978”. 

(My dad is a song writer too, all of his plaques are in his garage though, there are a lot of them. One day I’ll barter with my sister over who gets the one that started it all for him, “Physical” by Olivia Newton John.) 

To the right is a painting my friend Zo did, it looks different every time I look at it.

(I don’t have my own plaques yet, but I co-wrote a song for Nelly called “Hey Porsche”.)

On my desk I have an Obi Wan Kenobi action figure. It gives me great power. Also there is a mini guitar case to remind me of playing live.  

(I opened for Rick Astley on a world tour, ending at Carfest in England playing for 35,000 people, alone with my guitar. It was INSANE.) 

Lastly, I have a little green couch where I learn songs and think about my first full album, “Hot Letters” that I'll be releasing very soon. 

(I’ve been covering my favorite songs during quarantine. I couldn’t seem to write anything at the beginning of all this so I figured it was time to do some homework. Hence my Kacey Musgraves covers. It's been a masterclass in writing and production.)
