‘Musical Noises: Luigi Russolo &amp; The Evolution Sound’ is a collection of audio soundscapes influenced by the Italian ‘Futurista’ composer Luigi Russolo. In a letter sent to a fellow composer in 1913, he discusses the effect of noise pollution and its impact on musicians in the future.

Sound has always been a product of its environment. In it’s most practical form it serves as a method of communication; a by-product of life itself. During our evolution as a species we have developed a clear distinction between the world of sound and music. Our expression of music was viewed as sacred, a product of human ingenuity. Sound as a whole was no longer a means of communication; it was now the product of our own evolution and intelligence.
‘And so was born the concept of sound as a thing in itself, distinct and independent of life, and the result was music, a fantastic world superimposed on the real one, an involatable and sacred world‘ (Russolo 1913)
Music’s development has always been the subject of influence from technology. From the invention of tuned drums and wind instrument, to the use
of computers in modern recording - technology continues to be a catalyst for new music. The invention of industrial machinery has undoubtedly changed the world around us. Throughout the 19th century the industrialization of our societies not only affected the physical but the sonic matter of our environment. Sound was no longer considered sacred but became the by-product of a machines physical process, nothing more than pollution in our sonic landscape, unappreciated for it’s inherent sonic qualities. Noise had been created.
Russolo claimed that musicians of the future would use noise as means to further their own musical repertoire and expand our collective musical consciousness. My audio compositions relate to the ages of sound outlined by Russolo in his letter and plot our sonic evolution through silence, sound, noise and its integration into our musical construct.


"Always 27 Guitar Pickups" is based in Taipei City, Taiwan, since 2013. Alpha Ryo is a guitar repairman also as musician. Amy Chao, is sound engineer. We both searched for the " right and great " guitar sound for many years. After using many brands of pickups, but we still are unsatisfied to the sound, we decide to make our own pickups. 
Thanks for the pioneers of the pickup manufacturers such as Seymour Duncan company, DiMarzio company, Fender company, Gibson company, Lindy Fralin Pickup, Lollar Pickups. We learned from the rock history and have re-designed these special pickups for the golden-age and modern music. We use the premium meterial from USA. ”Always 27 Guitar Pickups” is made by the special hand-wind and with special vintage correct AWG 42.5 coil wire. 
We make “Always 27 Pickups” with our passion and love. Our hand-wound pickups has more “magical and musical” sound than others. It’s our goal to try to make “The best pickups”.

Part Tickles is a Sci Fi nut staring into the cosmos waiting for radio transmissions from other life forms.  Everything scheduled, including caffeine intake times. Shirts must have collars and sleeves rolled up are correct. Part Tickles has been known to babble almost endlessly about sounds carried by wind and often time listeners roll their eyes before walking away. You may notice by listening to Part Tickles that there is a belief; sounds are to hold you tight like a winters blanket.

We change our tone all the time, and our voices are heavily equipped to do this. For example, when we are angry, happy, upset, depressed, excited, or there is a sense of real danger ahead! It is a natural function of our larynx so when it comes to singing we can do this also. And how do we develop this? Well it’s important to recognize first of all when you hear it, just like with pitch. Another thing you can do is to identify with the emotion of the song. Beyond this point it comes down to practising exercises designed to develop this area of control.
Warm up exercises are important and often overlooked. Think of a cold engine in the morning! You need to let it idle for a while before you start pushing it anywhere close to its limits. Without warming up an engine you will do damage over time. Or imagine jumping out of bed in the morning and sprinting down the road as fast as you can run! Horrible experience because your body isnt prepared at all! Same thing with your voice!
There are  many factors at play and areas to develop on this journey of learning how to sing correctly. So long as you identify the main areas, and develop a foundation to build your voice correctly the rest will all fall into place.
