New Mills, New Brunswick born and Halifax, Nova Scotia based, Lisa Richard is at home in front of an audience with her guitar. Whether she is performing at a community fundraiser to showcasing at the East Coast Music awards or sharing the stage with Vince Gill and the Time Jumpers, Richard captivates listeners with her powerful vocal range, inspiring story and true passion for music and life. Her cover of ‘Jolene,’ which was performed in Nashville, alongside Vince Gill and The Time Jumpers has reached over 140,000 people online.


Lisa Richard is regarded as “a soulful Anne Murray” (Devon O’Day) and her vocal stylings have also been compared to the likes of Cher, Wynonna Judd and Tracy Chapman. Her genre extends across folk, country, pop and rock and she's performed for audiences across North America and Europe. Richard has also had the honour of performing the National Anthem in French and English at Scotiabank Centre for the National Canadian College Basketball Championships. She had the distinction of representing Team New Brunswick at the Canada Games in cycling.


Lisa has appeared on the TV Drama, Sullivan's Crossing and on various Hallmark Channel movie's including, Christmas Island.


Lisa’s single Whiskey Over Me will be released in June 2025. She has showcased on a local, national and international scale including at the East Coast Music Awards, Nova Scotia Music Week, Stan Rogers Folk Festival, NewSkool Rules (Netherlands), the Canadian Country Music Awards and Cavendish Beach Music Festival. In 2025, Lisa showcased at Your Roots Are Showing (Ireland).
