A magical gathering, more magical than magic the gathering but less magical than David Blaine became a misty haze that transformed into a symphony that even the ancient splatter himself, Jackson Pollock, would envy. After garnering underground praise in the textile industry in the late 1990’s, “PURPLE SHIRT ANTHEM” rose to prominence after its arrival at a series of public pools and other wateries in the English city of Liverpool. After dominating the UK dance charts, its spectacle only increased as “PURPLE SHIRT ANTHEM” gained popularity at many Danish chlorine manufacturers - a powerhouse in chlorine and other pool chemical production at the time. ‘PURPLE SHIRT ANTHEM’ expanded globally after an international lifeguard training seminar in Brussels, that reportedly played “the PURPLE SHIRT ANTHEM for the entirety of the three day seminar”, according to Pool Magazine’s Nathaniel D. Cunningham. Cunningham would go on to write a series of exposés about “PURPLE SHIRT ANTHEM” which would eventually bring rise to Canada Goose, the largest manufacturer of purple polos world wide, and PURPLE SHIRT ANTHEM’s legendary deal to make “PURPLE SHIRT ANTHEM” the official spokes song of purple shirts all across the world. This deal would also make the “PURPLE SHIRT ANTHEM” the official spokes song of maroon shirts world wide - due to most purple shirts being actually pretty maroon. After dominating the charts at pool netting enthusiast clubs, Low-level high-grade algaecide production factories, and a history of lifeguard chair’s museum, ‘PURPLE SHIRT ANTHEM’ first appeared in the states and was destined to arrive at Summer Adventure Camp. After the town of Exeter’s commission of the famous Red and Blue slides (and little brown slide) from a small Connecticut pool slide part manufacturer based in Fairfield, the stage was set and the ideal environment for “PURPLE SHIRT ANTHEM” to thrive was created. According to Pool Magazine’s Nathaniel D. Cunningham “‘PURPLE SHIRT ANTHEM’ looked likely to make its SAC debut after the addition of the ice-cream window at the snack shack and the introduction of the splash pad green ring thing”. However, as few purple-shirt trend analysts could predict - there was a vegetable themed craze at SAC in the latter half of the 2010 decade that dominated SAC radio airwaves (also known as Silas’s giant speaker) at the time. However, not even carrots or broccoli could stop the inevitable. In the summer of 2024 “PURPLE SHIRT ANTHEM” made its debut at Summer Adventure Camp. (*The song allegedly was played during Winter Explorers camp in 2021 - but this could not be verified.) May the purple fibers of this song bring you to happy tears. Notable purple-shirt trend analyst, H.J. Miles, projects that “PURPLE SHIRT ANTHEM” will spread to Water Country by the end of the summer.
