MR MADD - ELECTRIC GUITAR
ELECTRIC GUITAR - Maybe Frank Zappa said it best. "Shut up and play your guitar". Well, that is what has been done here.  I was not sure where this track could even get to when I first started. 
I picked up this guitar to see what it could do, and found out.
This cheap guitar rips. Harley Benton is making it tuff on the the expensive guitar sellers.
Enjoy this very experimental radical piece of music. It wickedly starts to grow on you after a few listens.

SWH + SWH - SUBCONSCIOUS SEQUENCE
This playlist is a collection of tracks recorded in 1979 and 1980. The final studio releases of this collection was 1981. These tracks represent the birth of the players that would later form the band MR MADD. During these sessions the song SURVIVAL IN SUBURBIA was born. We had no idea of the destiny we would travel getting to become MR MADD. It was over ten years later that MR MADD was born. During these years the players of MR MADD would gather at times, but we remained more jam band than anything else. In the mid 80s a side band was created, THE GIRL NEXT DOOR. That lasted about a year. With no guitar player during the late 80s, we jammed on as TRES HOMBRES. There are countless jams created by TRES HOMBRES. I plan to post some of that after I have time to review the material.

These tracks were recorded on a Teac 3340 reel-to-reel tape recorder and a small Teac Model II mixer.  That was our "state of the art" for those times. That technology was the dark ages compared to today's available equipment. The "Fred Flintstone era" of recording. So, please excuse the rugged and vintage sounding edge to these tracks. 
For now, this is as old as the tracks can get for MR MADD and MR MADD studio productions.

CLIMBING THE STEP

I operate a small studio named after our band, MR MADD. I play guitar, bass, and keyboards. Mr Madd was formed in the early 1990s. We have always been a "jam band" but at times would settle down and do some track recordings of songs written by a member or members the band. Our music is all original to us. We do not adhere to any single genre. All genres are acceptable. Anything from metal rock to jazz and space music is OK. Small local tours have mostly been our stand. The band ended its touring schedule in 2010. Since 2010 we have mostly created song tracks or held studio jam sessions and played  back to our roots as a jam band. 
NOW! 
The music created must live on, so here some of it is for you to experience and listen to.
I hope anyone who reads this or gets to listen to our music simply enjoys what you find.
