This mix was recorded at my apartment in Queens, NY on two technics turntables and a xone 92 mixer with a Boss RE-202 space echo effects pedal. I wanted to reflect on the countless nights spent as a teenager driving on 520 in my '01 Volkswagen Passat blasting 90.3 in my car all the way until I began to lose the signal as I descended further into unincorporated King County. KEXP has shaped my musical vocabulary more than any single institution, and it's such an honor to be featured on its airwaves.
